  1. TO difference is the biggest issue. That’s seven more possessions.
  2. When the guards you have to pressure are Galloway, Cupps, and Gunn, it’s hard to force many turnovers.
  3. Questionable foul puts Edey on the line with Purdue up 3
  4. Looked like Reneau’s hand hit on that shot
  5. Nah. Free throw parade just getting started for edey
  6. Johnson really didn’t think he fouled there?
  7. Did Mgbako even touch him?
  8. Don’t like the showing today but my hope at the beginning of the year was to get to the January part so f the big ten schedule at 10-3.

I've got Louisville in that one. Both train wrecks but I think DePaul doesn't even have brakes on their train.

Kentucky up 54-49 on Penn with 13 minutes left. Penn had cut it two about a minute ago.

I wouldn't call it self-aggrandizing. If I post things about myself on facebook/twitter/instagram, no one cares and no one calls it self-aggrandizing. The only difference is that people care where high rated high school players play at the next level. It's not self promotion just because people are interested in what you do.

Is he taking a year off?
  13. Auburn -- Faster than normal pace, but nothing out of the ordinary. Don't shoot the particularly well. Shoot it often enough from distance but not well. They hit the offensive boards well and play excellent defense. Get to the line a lot and don't foul very much. Employ a 10 man rotation with all ten getting between 15 and 24 minutes. Johni Broome is their go to guy and is averaging 18.3 ppg in just 23.6 minutes. He's 6'10" and is in his second year at Auburn after transferring from Morehead State. Has started shooting perimeter shots at Auburn but has been completely ineffective in that aspect. If he wants to shoot threes, let him. He also struggles at the line, so if we have a backup big guarding him need to be physical and not worry about fouls. Great rebounder. After him, scoring is very spread out with Holloway (10.6 points) being the only other double figure scorer. Next 5 guys get 6 to 8 points per game. Similar size (maybe a little smaller) to Indiana. Five guys getting the most minutes are 6'1", 6'4", 6'7", 6'8", and 6'10".

The rule book does not allow you to throw your shoe in an attempt to block but doesn't say anything about blocking it when your shoe is in your hand. Which begs the question: why couldn't a player just come out on the court with two shoes on his feet and two clown shoes in his hands on defense?

Getting really chippy in the Minnesota/Nebraska game. First a tech on Minnesota's Mitchell for standing over a player and taunting him (he did it for like five seconds, no way it could be missed) then a flagrant one on Nebraska a little later as a player grabbed a Minnesota player's foot while he was trying to dribble.

Do not believe that is true. It was reported on one ‘site’ and a tweet from ‘Jon Rothstein’ but the account spelled Jon with an m. Fake account.

My Big Ten WAR ratings through today (WAR is a measure of the team's wins minus the number of wins I would expect the last at large bid in the tournament to have based on the schedule the team has played). SOS measure is the minimum winning percentage that would be needed based on their current schedule, so good SOS are low, not high).
