It was a poor performance by Indiana, but you don’t play the game to cover. You play to win.

I get that, but I find it hard to take a guy seriously on playing time when his son hasn’t shot a lick and doesn’t add rebounding or passing seems to get a free pass.

Yeah, I guess I don’t get always looking for the negatives. Is the team better with X? Of course. Does it fix all of the issues? Of course not. But it’s a start.

I know, it just makes no logical sense. IMO, both were home games.

There are only two teams in the Big Ten whose only losses are Quad 1: Indiana and Illinois. Strange considering how many close wins against Q3 and Q4 that IU has had.

I know you were being sarcastic, just find it incredibly ironic that your combating someone telling you with a 'whole paragraph' that a one point win is better than a one point loss by making three or so replies with sarcasm and then throwing in the 'extensions for everyone' jab meant you were spending more time replying to the post than anyone spent writing one.

That really has nothing to do with my reply. I was replying to the fact that someone said five star players they think of great athletes. Jerry Meyer 247 description of Lander out of high school. The point I was making was that someone said when they think of a five star player that those players are great athletes. That was a description that was given to Lander.: Average size for a point guard. Left handed. Both a smooth and explosive athlete. Has a tremendous burst to the rim off the dribble. Creative ball handler and finisher. Good passer as well. Streaky outside shooter at this point. Rebounds his position. Has potential to be high quality defender.

The funny thing is that a kid who seemed to fit the definition you created above was Khristain Lander.

Rant: I preferred the rant thread when the rants focused on things outside of basketball. This might as well be a game thread.

I see hyperbole is in full effect. no one is happy with a one point win over morehead state. But if you don’t think putting one in win column was better than putting one in the column, then I don’t know what to say.
