I heard a rumor that Earl Calloway's shoulders hit the transfer portal years before he left IU.

I used to really hate reading LCS posts. Now he's one of my favorite posters. Either he's evolved or I've evolved. According to my wife, I haven't.

Sparks probably just because as a two time transfer would have to sit a year

Someone posted it here in this thread somewhere but I don't recall the source. IMO, if he's lost Galloway he's lost the whole team. Galloway is a coach's kid, 100% Indiana all of the way and has stayed loyal to the program even prior to knowing who was going to replace Archie Miller.

Winning -- or least playing competitively in most losses -- hid a lot. First two seasons, 11 of IU's 26 losses were by 5 points or less. This season only one of IU's 13 losses have been by 5 points or less. IU's average margin of loss has been 14 points this year. There hasn't even been a 'if the ball had bounced our way in this and this and this' game where the Hoosiers would be in the hunt for the NCAA.

Just looked at their resume and was shocked to see right now they haven’t played a single quad 1 game.

FWIW…..of Davis, Crean, Miller, and Woodson….this is the quickest I’ve ever been on board the ‘he has to be fired’ train. And it didn’t even enter my thoughts until this year. There hasn’t been a single moment of this season where the team has looked good. And it’s not untalented, just incredibly uneven. And I’ve grown tired of Woodson’s hand wringing and ability to put in the work to fix the issues.

Sometimes they are structured like that, sometimes not. But regardless of how they are structured, they can be negotiated to be paid out differently later.

I would have to think that a donor on the side of Woodson and Buckner would be....let's say....in the early bird dinner crowd. Going to have to seek donors who still chew food with their own teeth in order to counteract them.

I don't think people understand SEPs*. I'll watch IU games for the rest of the year and hope they win. Just my nature. Doesn't mean I don't want a change at the top. SEPs, by their nature, I'm not going to worry about. The board of trustees has to make a decision and how I root from my couch has no bearing on that. * -- Somebody Else's Problem

Indiana will fire Mike Woodson only to replace him with Walt Bellamy. Later it is discovered he's been dead for 11 years but Quinn Buckner refuses to fire Bellamy.

In terms of players partying, no one would care about it if the team was winning. And I wholeheartedly agree that the player's actions are a reflection of a coach who doesn't seem to want to put in the hours. It certainly takes a different personality to want to do the grind of the college game at age 66. It's not for everyone....Woodson hasn't recognized his own biggest shortcomings and at age 66 being a third year college coach, he isn't going to.

In terms of '250 pages of attaboying it'....the number of people who weren't posting in the thread at the beginning but are now speaks volumes. This is how it was right before Miller was fired. When those reticent to move on from a coach cross over, that speaks volumes. I am one of those who avoids those topics for as long as possible but there isn't a path where this ends well.

Yeah, I'm sure that he he called his players unathletic and slow because they needed motivation. Strange that the motivational techniques that his previous program was hookers and blow when they could have saved money by 'calling out his players' to the press. And let's not act like the 'they are 2-0 since' means that they played two good games. They beat Georgetown by 5 points.

That's fine. The statement that was originally made was stating it as fact that "MM is gone", which is what I was questioning. Ware going pro makes sense because he's appearing on late first/early second draft boards. Mgbako isn't appearing on anyone's draft board. As I've said, the number of players who think they are one and dones always exceeds the number who actually are one and dones.
