Nobody in this thread is the person who said something to Woodson at the high school game and most posters said that it shouldn't have been done. You should expect that the posters who are replying to you to be the ones who disagree with your thought. Not much need to reply if what you have to say is "I agree".

A lot of places have moved to that. I've had cases where I am going to a game and there are high schools that arrive and only have cash and no card and I'll have them pay me and I then I'll buy the ticket on my app.

Even for the most optimistic fans here that was a concern. And screw the 'no one wanted to come in and sit behind X'.....why in the hell didn't he bring in a combo or shooting guard? Despite his shooting struggles, I like Galloway but he's getting 34 minutes per game. Minutes were there. He was able to have Anthony Walker and Payton Sparks sign to come in and play backup minutes but he seriously couldn't find someone to come in and backup X and Galloway? You can't tell me that there was't someone to bring in as the primary backup guard that if pressed into the starting role wouldn't have been better than what we've gotten.

It wasn’t against the rules or ‘illegal’ then. Unethical and against the rules are two different things. And no one can force a recruit to say anything they don’t want to. anyway, I was speaking in generalities. Everything that Illinois was accused of doing to get Thomas then can be accomplished within the rules now.

St.John’s last two regular season games are DePaul and Georgetown. Despite those being quad 3 or 4 games, assuming they win I would think they are more in need of bumping up the win total than their SOS. May 19-12 with a NET of about 40 I would think they could bump themselves up to last 4 in. Would still want more security, though, from bid stealers.

If they are regularly scheduled meetings, the chances that this was already on the docket is pretty good. I have no idea if there regularly scheduled meetings but don’t see any reason for Rabby to lie about it.

I have heard South Carolina's Lamont Paris mentioned as a potential candidate. Turned two programs (Chattanooga and now South Carolina) around quickly. Has Big Ten ties as he was an assistant at Wisconsin from 2010-2017. Midwest ties, grew up and played college ball in Ohio.

While Woody could be back, that sounds to me like laying out a scenario where if they feel they can get their guy to replace him, they will. That said, unless Woody or Dolson are leaking information about a meeting they just had, sounds like we are just getting an interpretation from an someone outside the actual conversation that was said.
