Yeah, the three NIT bracketology sites I saw had IU in the NIT prior to the BTT. And considering the number of teams that will reject the NIT this year as they have to play the portal game, there really wasn't Indiana wouldn't have been invited. IU and Mississippi so far have said they will reject bids....there are going to be others.

For ***** and giggles -- Movement in games from WAR today would move Mississippi State and Texas A&M into the tournament and drop Michigan State and TCU out of the tournament. New Mexico loss tonight would drop them right to the bottom of the right side of the bubble but I would still have them in the tournament. Oregon in mine moved safely in with their win over Arizona. I had St. John's needing to beat U Conn to be in and they lost a close one. South Florida still alive but on life support and would probably have to win the AAC tournament. Providence had a chance to move in by beating Marquette but didn't. Ohio State would have moved in with a win over Illinois.

Would just mean that Sampson would get more players. :)

Still didn't seem to get it on a question about playing the game inside/out. The good in the presser -- more diplomatic in terms of talking about the portal, didn't give the 'I don't owe you antything' attitude he did earlier to the press. Didn't blow up on a reporter who asked a stupid question about 'do large blowouts make you frustrated?' Finally, seemed very genuine in that he felt bad for X over the last two years 'not being able to live his dream' and stay on the court. Said he hopes he's part of X's future and that if there is anything he needs, he'll do it for him. The bad in the presser -- still didn't seem to openly state that the inside/out style wasn't working. Fell back on the 'when we were losing shots were falling' mantra. Don't think he knows how much just an ounce of humility of saying "I have to do a better job of preparing" or "as a team, we need to better, and that includes me" would go to getting fans on his side. All in all, I'd give him a B for the presser. It was better than he's been in the last few.

They are interviewing Hoiberg right now. Think at the BTT they usually interview winning coach then losing but could be wrong.

Well, love all you guys (most of you :) ) and have enjoyed posting in game threads. Even though it wasn't what we wanted this year and didn't end the season with the result or upcoming change in coach we wanted, can't do anything about it.

Likely would. NIT bracketology I saw had them as a 5,6,or 7 seed before the BTT. But I think they would decline the invitation given that Ware most definitely would opt out, MM likely would as he prepares for the draft (but think he still ends up coming back), Galloway not being able to play, and a couple of players going to the portal.
