Also worth noting that he fouls at about the same rate Reneau does......Payne one foul per 10.5 minutes, Reneau one per 10.2 minutes last year. I would like IU to have a rotation of 3 guys at the 4/5, just not as sold on Payne as you. Bradshaw also has a lot of foul issue. Williams is the most sure thing IMO but will only get one year out of him. Bradshaw and Payne offer multiple years. Think the key is that if you get one of the three locked up you immediately look for the third guy to complement. It's obvious that MR is at the 4 and MM is at the 3, so have to look for complementary pieces to make that happen. Let's start by getting Rice. Would love to get Rice and Hickman but at a certain point guys are going to want to see how their minutes are going to work out.

Yeah, seemed like his entry into the portal was one of the least surprising and worst kept secrets. Probably the only smaller surprise was that A.J. Storr didn't try to enter the portal before the portal opened.

Except we know from Chris that Galloway and Leal were shown what their NIL would be the day prior to senior night. Fact is that our NIL increased and their NIL deals increased as well, likely effecting every player's MO. Could very well have something to do with Galloway and Leal coming back. Ngw has always been a sunshine pumper who takes credit when things go well but when they don't, he blames the 'fans' making 'scaring off recruits' and if something doesn't happen it is because 'things changed' -- he doesn't admit when his projection didn't pan out. Chris Ledlum would been at IU if Ngw was correct. Boogie Fland would be in candystripes next year. And notice that Ngw never said Liam McNeeley was decommitting prior to him doing so and after he did he said it was 'because the fans were negative'. And he also was stating that IU had the upper hand in the Queen recruitment because of how long it went on. So Ngw has been right.....when he was right. And he's been wrong when he's been wrong. Everything thing he has been right has been positive for IU, everything he has been wrong on has been a negative for IU. He's like a guy who wants credit for predicting the sun coming up in the morning but when the sun goes down at night he didn't see it coming and it must have been because 'things changed'.

And we'd have gotten away with if it weren't for those pesky kids.

FWIW, this board was mentioning Rice well before Ngw tweeted. Wolfe was mentioned as a fit as well. Just saying that 'Indiana has been in contact' isn't really going out on a limb. Schools are in contact with SO many players in the portal. Ngw's (Tyme) tweet about 'not caring if I'm right, just that others are wrong' is a sad indictment. As in, I don't care if I'm successful.....I just care that others fail. Kind of sad that he is jealous of a guy -- TrillyDonovan -- who goes to great lengths to be anonymous.

It was said he would be 'taking time off' after Wrestlemania. I think he'll try to go the John Cena/Rock route, get in the movie business and just occasionally show up at large WWE events.

Reported that Tramon Mack was going to enter the portal yesterday evening. Will be interesting to see if he does now that cal is coming. So I would think he might consider staying after talking to Cal but that probably starts a domino effect on other players who Cal might have wanted. Could also look at USC where Musselman went or go simply become a free agent again. Mack played three years at Houston before transferring to Arkansas. 6'6" guard averaged 16.2 points and 4.3 rebounds. Shot 48/36/80.

IMO, if IU has made in roads with kids in the portal, then do NOT go after Fland. He’s likely going to just follow Cal to Kentucky. Don’t waste precious time and goodwill with the guys in the portal you are recruiting.

He is s, really impressed what he can do with so little training time. But he’s basically just a pay per view wrestler.

They probably put LA Knight into a Reigns match too fast. It was obvious they weren’t having lose that match so they had to come back and give him a win over someone credible but someone they don’t have winning a title anytime soon.

RKO/Owens/Paul easily the best match of the night, but the WWE doesn’t do itself any favors with keeping titles on part timers.
