Jaden Brownell, Samford in the portal. Would assume he follows Bucky to Texas A&M, but we'll see. 6'9" forward, 14 points and 4 rebounds, 51/40/80 shooter. What is impressive is he averaged those 14 points in just 19.9 minutes/game.

His career splits are 43/37.

FWIW, Bailey was first team A-10 as well as most improved player (and he wasn't bad before). Kind of fits the Danny Wolf profile of a big who took his game to the next level.

Obviously Braden Smith is an elite college point guard but he turned it over 12 times in two games getting guarded by mostly Rice and Galloway. Anyway, elite players do tend to outplay their competition.....otherwise they wouldn't be elite.

We aren't going to agree on Enright, but that's all good, brother. I think you would agree that if Bailey signs and Good is given another year of eligibility that DeVries is putting together a team that can really shoot the ball and can always look for individual defensive skill sets in other players he brings in.

I am just saying I am less worried about the defense than you are (and think your opinion of Enright's defense is waaayyyyy off). West Virginia's defensive personnel wasn't good. They had Harris and their backup center as the only plus defenders.

3.8 assists last year. He has good handles.

With West Virginia being 15th in defensive efficiency last year despite lacking any real kind of shot blocker (Hansberry played the most minutes at center and he blocked 12 shots all year), I'm confident that DeVries will be able to coach the players he has into playing solid defense.

Bailey would be a very good get. Good scorer who gets to the line a lot -- 228 free throws last year after getting 168 as a sophomore.

Jayden Dawson commits to Kansas. He's.....nothing special. Three years at Loyola. Last year was his first year averaging in double figures -- 13.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists. 41/36/74 shooter. Point is that I think Kansas is starting to have some trouble navigating the transfer portal. Could be that Bill Self has been promising recruits things he couldn't deliver on in terms of role/minutes. Nicolas Timberlake was a big get two years ago and only saw 15 minutes/game and 5 points. A.J. Storr was limited. Passmore and Griffen both in the portal now. Bigunda, although not a portal addition, probably felt as a recruit that Self didn't deliver on what he was selling.

Jordan Burks, Georgetown, 6'9" forward. Freshman year at Kentucky, didn't play much. Last year at Georgetown averaged 18.6 mpg, 5.7 pts, and 3.4 rebounds. Shot 52/36/68.

Daimon Collins, LSU, 6'9" 4/5. Ranked #14 in the class of 2021. Went to Kentucky for two years where he never got his footing. At LSU for two years, redshirting in 23-24. Last season averaged 20.4 mpg, 8.0 ppg, 4.3 rpg, and 1.6 blocks. Marcus Allen, Missouri, 6'7" freshman forward. Ranked 80th in class of 24. Got in 27 games as a freshman at Missouri, averaging 2.6 pts and 2 rebounds. Had an IU offer. Shawn Phillips, Arizona State, 7' center. Made 12 starts. In 18 mpg averaged 5.4 points and 5.2 rebounds along with 1.1 blocks.
