10+ point win to open the B10... I'll take it. Our D did plenty if you go by their shooting %. 80+ % FT shooting... is that really our team lol... Got better after some early turnover issues. Nice games by Race, Bates, and TJD.

Like others have said, no fan of moral victories, but I'm not too down over this loss. Pretty good shooting, on the road, came back after being down, etc.. Cuse are great this year, but they're a solid team. If anything, our D let us downs. Loved the way we fought back, and kept fighting. In previous years, not sure that would have happened. We were a TJD free throw or two away, or Bates making 1 of his 4 3pters away, from a tough come back road win. Need to do better of course, but not an awful loss. Definitely some positives.

TJD was a non-5star guy... just saying. And Banks still has a year to play and could improve his 4 star rating. He's moved up 40 spots in the last 4 months. I agree we need do better recruiting and developing, and a portal stud would help. But I also know it's very early in Woodson's career, and recruiting has already improved. And simply winning will attract better talent. Takes time. If you expect overnight success, you're going to be pretty disgruntled.

The summer highlights I watched showed a ton of shot around the rim. Not saying he's a prototypical "banger", but he's got the moves down low. He's still skinny, and needs some S&C, but if he adds 20 good lbs, he'll be fine. edit/add here's the last highlights I watched

I do think Banks will be good. Averaged 23+ and 8+ last year. Duke getting the top 2 Cs in one class just isn't fair.

Was a little bummed about the first half (D not O) but liked the 2H. Good 3pt and FG shooting. TOs were an issue. Race was off. Everyone else shot fine. Always hard to replace a guy like TJD unless you're reloading with multiple 5 star kids every year. Perhaps Durr breaks out.. IDK. If not, I think we're going to be counting on Logan to develop quick or Banks to come in swinging. A portal stud would be nice.

Yup. Hookers and bagmen aside, he's one of the few great basketball minds. Met him on a few occasions, and got to talk to him for 10ish minutes at a coaches dinner. Super nice, and super smart. Sorta hate to see him wasted at a small school, but also happy he's not somewhere making it harder for us. Also love seeing him pick off some big boys.

Yup. A close loss, or loss to a good team won't bother me much so long as we're growing/improving. It's way early, new scheme, new players, etc.. And Woodson has yet to have a full recruiting cycle and get his guys in. I won't hit the panic button unless we end up with a losing record this year (very unlikely), or players start driving around campus in BMWs with blow, guns, and hookers. Two of those might be OK... lol

It's early. And most way-too-early bracketology projects have the B10 with the most teams in of any conference. Archie's first year, he got ***** smacked by Indiana State his first game. That had nothing to do with B10 quality. Is was just a horrible loss. We're 5-0, number 31 in KP, and climbing. I'm just not going to go out of my way to look for reasons to *****, reasons to defend CAM, or reasons to diminish a great start this year. Honest question... Are you more satisfied when we lose or something? lol.

B10 is fine. 6 teams in the top 25 of KP, and 8 in the top 32 counting IU and Wiscy. That's 25ish%. Perhaps not the typical top heavy ranks we see, but it's early. Some teams are playing with youth, and will peak later.
