      Did it get changed? Both the IU site and Indy Star say 9:00pm.  

Real men do not shop on Black Friday nor eat quiche. Real men shop as little as possible no matter what day it is. They DO NOT shop on Black Friday! 

      I'm thinking cattle prod. They get it even if they don't show up at all. The cattle prod patrol hunts them down! It's not set as high for the late comers. This will make sure EVERYONE shows up and mostly on time. Some might enjoy the shock... might have to find a different punishment for them. I'm thinking watching pudont basketball games would be a good deterrent.

These are fun,even though I am pretty horrible at it. It would probably help though if I'd look a few things up once in awhile instead of just guessing.

Today Mo announced that Chris Carpenter is going to retire. A sad day in Cardinals history. One of the Cardinal greats even though his body would never hold up. The man sacrificed his shoulder for 11 in 11. He never pitched effectively again. He tried like hell though! Had a rib removed to alleviate nerve pinching then was back on the mound about two months later. Alas the arm went again in Spring Training last spring and his comeback attempt gave way to more nerve damage in the summer.     In other news Mike Matheny got a 3 year extension as manager.

You might be right...       I've at times thought this same thing about a few forum posters over the many years.    

My sister even offered me her tickets on Sunday. I think it had been about five years since that last happened. Of course she called about an hour and a half before game time knowing full well it would take me about 3 hours to make the drive. Sibling love, it's great!  

A related story about this. Growing up there was a factory near by that a friend's dad worked at as an engineer. He always talked about the plant manager being a freaking psychopath. Being a teen at the time I wrote it off as just angry dad talk.   Last spring I was birding at Magee Marsh east of Toledo. During the spring warbler migration thousands of people go there. So I have my camera out taking some pics. It's a nice setup but unusual as I have an old wood tripod and a really old Leica lens. Not stuff you normally see but much less expensive than the modern gear. So this guy with a $25k setup comes over and starts asking me about mine. I told him I'd like to have a set up like his but I couldn't afford it. He starts telling me that I was basically a worthless bum and I obviously didn't work hard enough or I could afford it just like he could. I let him go on... He's bragging to me about he's a retired plant manager from the very company that my friend's dad worked at. So I ask him when he was there... of course it was him and if you look at what a psychopath really is I'd say he fit the bill quite well. So, turns out Chuck did know what he was talking about. I even told him about knowing Chuck and growing up there... He went on to tell me what an idiot Chuck was and how much he hated him.

Can someone explain to me why it is that Christians, Muslims, and Jews all worship the same God but can't keep from killing each other or not even stop it amongst themselves.

    There was tons of hype on that game. No 1 vs. No 2.  This is un-ranked (AP) IU against un-ranked Washington. Yeah it's in MSG but other than that it's not really a big deal. They've had 4 games of college ball so it isn't brand new to them. Granted there will be some nerves but I don't think it will last all that long.   

      just looked around a bit. The Louisville boards don't seem to be too happy about this. Kid is from Norway and they don't think he's any good.

    I could be very wrong on this, jmho, but I don't think the big city lights effect is going to be all that much for these kids. They've spent the last several years playing in front of big crowds, tons of coaches, state tournaments, tv cameras,scouts, etc. They're used to the spotlight.

    Maybe it's gone over real well because you're the boss and no one wishes to tell you how they really feel about it. Sometimes the boss gets no dissension because they know the consequences won't be good. Me, I'll find another job if it's that important to me to speak my mind. Besides if you allow no debate or arguing then it's pretty easy to say it goes over really well. I'll only allow those who think just like me speak their minds!  What a great concept for a forum. Not sure why you start the thread if you allow no debate. Seems like you should take this to a blog instead. jmho   Sometimes going over real well is in the eye of the beholder. I have some ex-bosses who thought that as well. They had to find a new job when the place went under just like the rest of us.   Just sayin'.
