Someone will emerge that we have interest in and all of the "pocket the scholarship guys" will change their tune.   Just sayin.

Well In my Facebook feed I get posts including threads from this site.   I saw a thread that said Max committed to IU.   Then I click on it and it was deleted.  So I think some of the others asking who said he is coming are referring to that thread which was deleted.  We would like to know who posted that. 

  He was granted his release from Michigan in late April after it was announced that Caris LeVert would return for his senior season.

When I heard this news I knew exactly what happened.   After the arrest, both were submitted to a drug test, fail you are gone, pass you stay on the team.  This is why the couple day delay with the decision and why Hanner is gone despite not being in trouble with the law.   Hey a lot of us smoked weed in college, but I didn't have a full ride to play basketball, I would like to hope I would have been able to abstain with that opportunity.

It is a possibility if we see one thing.  And that is a true dedication to defense like we had with the 2013 team.  We need Blackmon and some of the other habitual offenders to actually play defense.   This includes the coaching staff  as well adding Deflections back into their vernacular.   There are stats that back this up,  I don't think any team in the last 25 years has won it all with a sub 30 defense.   End of Story.

I say Yes and Yes.    Now my second yes comes with difficulty because I'd love to have a Brad Stevens who would teach basic fundamentals like defense rather then letting the team personality decide what they are going to focus on.   As much as I am a giant critic of Crean,  and many of us are because we have seen the greatest strategist in the history of college basketball and our current coach that is his weak point for sure.   Crean has delivered some pretty talented teams since he has been here.   Imagine last year with Trey Lyles actually staying.   This day and age recruiting is a bigger part of the game, and that is where Crean shines.   Those so quick to have him fired after pulling your hair during games have got to remember the next coach may not be able to land a single McDonalds All All American and Crean lands one every year.      You've always got to remember that the grass may not be as greener on the other side as you think it is.

I'm in Evansville and this year was absolutely brutal.   I've discussed this many times on other boards but many IU fans have no idea how irrelevant Purdue is when it comes to our Rivals. Down here There is hate for one team, one state, one direction, its for Kentucky.    It's literally the most I've celebrated a tourney win, not IU related ever.

I just google searched Thon and I'm seeing articles saying Thon has said his intentions are to play in Australia next year.  I'm assuming this is Professionally and his college recruitment is all but done?

I'd love for someone to fill me in on this whole situation.   Something happened, some of you know, just PM me please
