No way the B1G regular season winner should have been a 4 this year lol. -
This! The dude was acting like I would wait until we were in the FF again before I started watching. The minute a hire is made I am back. Even if I don't particularly agree with the hire.
-
Oh I will hang around here. I enjoy conversing with you folks, but I won't be in the game threads nor will I watch the games themselves.

Talented player, but has to be a frustrating to coach
-
Well then I cannot wait to cheer again ;)

You're not understanding my stance at all. There are years that we are not going to be as strong. I understand that. I am in coaching and plan on spending the next 40 years of my life doing so, but we are not talking about a random two year lull in performance in the midst of a decade run of consistency. When the same issues are present year after year after year and the powers to be show they don't care why should I? Why invest my time, money, and energy into a product that clearly isn't working at the level they claim it is? I didn't stop watching during the Davis era. I didn't stop watching after we policed ourselves and slogged our way to 28 wins in a three year span. I have been patient with each hire in my lifetime even after we hired a known cheat. The powers to be continue to claim we are an elite program, but their actions say otherwise. If you are trying to sell to me we are elite then show me. We are an expensive program not an elite one. Just go ahead and out right say publicly we are no longer interested in being an elite program and I will adjust my expectations. Until then though I expect a consistent power with the resources we have available in this state. Me deciding not to watch the same ole song and dance does not make me less of a fan than anyone else. I have no other way of having my voice heard.

Well I won't be reading then lol

I doubt Donovan is coaching Westbrook to be a shot chucker

Link?

I sat through a 6 win season and cheered our boys on the entire time. I have been patient with the current regime. I will no longer invest my time in the product if the powers to be feel this is acceptable. I will gladly tune back in when a change is made.

We can only hope

2017 NIT Selection Show - ESPNU 8:30pm

This ****ing picture lol -
Have it my friend. Hopefully they give you more to cheer about than to cuss about. I won't be tuning it.
-
If one great showing at home against an NIT squad is enough for this fanbase to renew its faith in Crean leading this program then we absolutely deserve whatever results we get.
-
I hope we host a game and get blown the hell out in front of a crowd of 1,200 people if Crean comes back.

The last 15 years of Indiana Basketball......so for over half my life.... Compiled an overall record of 281-207, and a Big 10 record or 129-131. Qualified for eight NCAA Tournaments. Qualified for two NITs. Failed to qualify for any either the NCAA or NIT five times. Never advanced beyond Sweet 16 in NCAA or NIT. Played in three Big 10 Tourney semifinals (2001, 2003, 2013). Compiled an 8-15 record in the Big 10 Tourney (6-14 over last 14 years). Two Big 10 regular season championships.

I am not even kidding when I say this. If this keeps up Hoosier fans will be the minority in southern Indiana. Very rarely do I see HS kids or younger wearing IU gear in these parts. All UK, Louisville, or some other random big market team. I remember growing up and seeing nothing but IU gear with some UK stuff sprinkled in.
-
What was our rate before Davis missed back to back? Once every 20 years we would miss it or something?
-
Or here in southern Indiana Louisville since they already have signs on this side of the river anyways.
-
Yup. Just a waste of time.

Just start pulling money from the Basketball account and pumping it into the football program.
