For sure! I'm sure it's a little of both. Given the rumors of the reason for his departure here, assuming those are even marginally accurate, I would look at other options too

I went to the Indy Classic (TAMU-Purdue and Butler-Wisconsin) and couldn't fathom how LOUD the Purdoo crowd was from start to finish. We used to dwarf their crowd at the Crossroads Classic. And I can't believe how far away we are from that. Obviously, the fanbase could be turned out quickly (see: Cignetti), but man. We are not close right now.

Not trying to argue, only reason I mention it is I know a UT BOT member. Anyway, point remains, the fact that our baseline is making the tourney is insane to me

Totally agree. The fan base being the main problem has always been hilarious to me…. It’s literally the only thing (outside of NIL/resources) that remains elite about the program

Man..... I'll die on this hill. It's not the What, it's the Why and the How. Of course we all want IU to return to the glory of competing for national championships, but when people say we have unrealistic expectations, I call BS. All I want is a team we can be proud of. I've been prouder to be an IU fan when we've had teams way worse than this. All we want is discipline, connected play, selflessness, hard work and 110% effort from everyone in the program from the Head Ball Coach to lottery picks to the janitor. Talent and NIL be damned.
