This is probably a lazy take but outside of age, I’m still getting strong Cignetti vibes from McCollum (especially after listening to him on D*kich today). Supremely confident in himself and his system, no BS, the standard is the standard, production over potential. I know the tempo is a red flag…. But outside of that, I think his style is EXACTLY what Indiana fans want. Defensive-minded, constant motion offensively, relentless effort on both ends. I know it’s not as modern, but that’s the kind of team we can be proud of. (Purdue sucks!… But so does Michigan & Ahia State!)
