This is pretty standard when you have a coach who has been on the HOT seat. None of the big fish are going to pull the trigger until they see how our season goes. Our play at the beginning of the year will be crucial for recruits figuring out if CTC will be here or not.

Nigel Hayes was the fourth best player on his team last season... He's not the best player in the LEAGUE this season. Sorry! You can Bo Ryan me all you want but he won't have nearly the same looks being on the top of the scouting report instead of being on the bottom.

This board is funny.. quite often, these types of players end up making huge impacts down the road. If he decided to go somewhere else and ends up doing well, we would all rake Crean over the coals. I can't believe Thon is only 11th in the class. I would take him first in the draft next year if he was eligible.

I see through rose colored glasses... but the only thing Arizona State has over Indiana doesn't even include basketball (women). They probably don't win that by very much, either. As for bball... They draw no attendance, have no games on national tv and don't have near the pedigree of players to play with. Seems like a no brainier to me!

Holt is the same height but skinnier. Who else would be playing the backup 5?

Hartman should be playing the Backup 3 spot to JBJ and the backup 4 to TW (assuming the SL is yogi,rob,jbj,tw,tb) every now and then but I see him more as a 3. EH will be the 4 backup and I see Max as a 5 backup to TB. Max doesn't space the floor well so I can't see him playing the 4 at all

All of the folks on here who wouldn't like this probably didn't like the NZ addition either..and they were all wrong. Be happy if he wants to come here and I'm sure he can certainly add something to the mix up front. We need the depth and can still use the scholly next year

I agree with the entire legalization of weed. I still smoke occasionally myself. That said, there are certain places that it will NEVER be tolerated. Some (if not most) jobs will not allow it (others don't test) and you OBVIOUSLY get tested as a college athlete. When you KNOW you will be tested..don't give yourself the opportunity to FAIL, that's STUPID. DD Is clearly ignorant to the rules of being a college athlete. That doesn't make him a bad person, nobody is perfect, but it makes him not worthy of throwing on the candy stripes anymore. As for Hanner, I would piss test him ASAP. I assume he is guilty and suspend him for the non conference schedule to prove a point about being in the wrong place, even if he is innocent of smoking (highly doubtful).

The only thing that I saw dumber than this today was a guy I passed driving with a "hoodrat" decal on the front windshield of his car. SMH

Of course Crean knows more than "message board guy".. Leaked texts and info or not, he still has a million percent better feel about it than any of us. He spends a ton of time with these kids and he gets paid handsomely to make plans with or without them.
