Guy on HSN, DC2345, posted that IU has passed on Lewis. Not sure who his source is as he’s just a regular member of the site. Don’t kill the messenger. :) -

That’s a big win! :) -
I can’t be annoyed because we, IU…the Indiana Hoosiers, are going to be IN the conversation. And I know that annoys so many OSU and Michigan fans as well as other programs who have huge football egos. I’m just going to smile and gloat. :)))

He was a Cincinnati guy who played his high school football at Colerain HS on the northwest side of the city. He also played basketball, baseball and track. RIP

I’m so happy to be alive to witness this season. I am old enough to remember 1967 and the tremendous excitement and joy of people following that team. I was even fortunate enough to see IU’s game against Iowa…a victory with a score in the last three minutes or something like that. Watching Harry Gonso throw a terrific pass to Jade Butcher during the last touchdown drive. That team, like this one, surprised many opponents, but won a lot of close games. They benefited from a favorable schedule of not having to play either OSU or Michigan, which allowed them to tie for the BIG10 championship. This is a tremendous moment for IU football folks…and I know most of you know that….but just the same, take it in and savor it. And let’s keep supporting this team, the coaches, but especially the HC. He’s a winner and I believe he’ll stay with the right support and respect for this program. Go Hoosiers!

Fernando Valenzuela passes away at 63. RIP Came up in 1981 and both won ROY and the Cy Young

Totally agree.
-
And I believe that he’s getting MUCH better coaching from this staff.
-
And maybe EVERYONE steps up…not just TJ…but the entire offense, the entire defense, special teams…and the coaches. That’s what we need…and what Coach Cignetti will demand. And while we may not score 48 points per game…we’ll score enough to win. LFG! Go Hoosiers!
-
That’s a shame if it is, but we have a backup who isn’t inexperienced or a freshman. The staff will put him in the best position to succeed. LFG!
-
Unfortunately we all know that injuries, however small, are part of the game. Good teams fight through adversity and I expect this team will do just that. Coach Cignetti and his staff will have the team ready for UW, I have no doubt whatsoever. Go Hoosiers!
-
I expect a losing season and the HC to be fired. He was a poor hire.
-
I don’t think Harbaugh targeted qbs in the way most coaches do. He was totally old school and cared more about the run game and defense. JMHO.

I will feel better once we know Rourke’s thumb isn’t broken. -

In the year 2525…if Turdue is still alive…if their cows can survive…they may find…..

I probably missed this posted elsewhere, but J Walker has an injured shoulder/arm…nothing definitive yet I guess. Cig said that he’s had other injuries where medical staff said he was questionable, but he played. Glad we have the bye week now.

14-3 PSU at the half
-
I think some injured players have returned which has helped and they’ve simply improved. IU’s win does look better IMO. :)
