Almost the highest scoring IU game ever. Hanner still concerns me, he just looked uncertain still. If he had half the ferocity Max has then he would destroy the boards, but you could see times when he didn't challenge players when he should have and could have won.

If it helps, the only two schools I really applied to for college were Indiana and Maryland (I also applied to one school as a joke so that I could leave the acceptance letter where a friend would see it and told her I was going to school with her. Worth it. Hilarious.). And I chose Indiana! Isn't that what matters? We were all young once.

Guys, I have to admit something. My whole family and extended family are all Terps. I watched the 2002 Championship game from Cole Field House rooting against Indiana. I greeted the Terps as they came off the bus as champions and have a dozen shirts from the event. I'm sorry guys. I didn't know. I DIDN'T KNOW!

What a fizzle-out Edwards had. He really should have been great. Everyone else seems to be saying current era players though? So... Noah Vonleh. Disappointing year with the Hoosiers. And now rides the pine while watching an IU player who understood so much better tear up the boards. He'll eventually have his place in the NBA with his insane physical gifts (dat wingspan) but, as an IU player and as a lottery pick, he was and is absolutely underwhelming.

  Yeah, because people are too busy using it to complain complain complain rather than actually discuss everything. The devolving into stupid shit all the time is what makes this site worse and worse every day. Someone used the classic saying "you know what happens when you assume" they didn't call Wayne an ass or say he was dumb, they used a 50 year old joke. This is not the time to make a stand about personal attacks because of insecurities so intense that everything has to be personal.   I use the edit button, because that's what it's there for. And you did derail them in the first place. You weren't called an ass. Take a breath. Either way, harping on Crean AGAIN is not "defend[ing] [your]self". Take it to one of the hundreds and hundreds of topics already so derailed they'll never get back on track. Anyway, on topic (if anyone forgot what it is here, it's about signing LOIs late), I'll be more worried about it if we hear anything to make it seem suspicious. Sure, we're nervous because Stevens flipped, but he had a visit and interest building before that, it wasn't out of no where. Have any coaches visited our recruits? Any new interest? They're smarter than acting like they were going to sign their LOIs and then not to do it. That would be the dumbest way to artificially keep us as a back-up school or something like that. If they're nervous about the turmoil, they wait until spring. If they are faking that they're going to sign it in the fall and will wait to spring then why bother?    

It's a post ranting about Crean in the middle of a thread about recruit signing. Even the rant about personal attacks was pretty off-topic. Also, a different post. Why divide your post into two posts if they aren't two separate thoughts? I know every topic is destined to break down into petty arguing about the same things over and over again, but still.

If nothing else he may help Yogi's NBA prospects. Even he'll look tall standing next to someone listed at 5'11

At the very least it would build a pretty serious grudge against us from Marquette.

Everything I've heard, including from people I know at Duke, says that he's the heavy favorite to replace Coach K when he retires. If getting him first is an option, it's one I'd be pretty excited about. But, he may just be biding his time.

My fault then. I could swear the announcers said he was the ex-Vandy guy at least once. But, I wasn't paying that close attention to the other team's members.   His face said it all to me. During the push and after he had a seriously vicious look on his face like "F you, take that!" that you just don't have when it's incidental contact. 

    Considering he's in Indy because he was ineligible at Vandy, something tells me he isn't the solution to our off-the-court troubles.
