    (2016) C Thon Maker

He's not wrong really. Definitely has a big atmosphere of fair-weather fans, is pretty beautiful, the coaching staff are all paid for their jobs so they're professional, and it's hard to deny how many kids they kick out to the NBA (whether ready or not).

How many SCHoosiers could there be? He's still pretty negative.

They needed more financial crimes. I tell you, the people who had the most successful nights were the lawyers and businessmen.

The mere fact that he can leave the ground with how high the gravity is on that frame is impressive.

IU vs UNC Greensboro Post Game Thread

He already did, he commented there.

Yeah, after doing a little research I would love for him to give us a little time. How do you even guard a kid that size? If he has any amount of speed then he'd be insanely good.

    Latham

6'8, 268. Both would look tall and lean next to Latham.  Here is his ESPN basketball page. Four stars? Wow. http://espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/evaluation/_/id/149779/darius-latham Did anyone post Latham's basketball highlights? I don't have to tell you which one he was, he was only 20 lbs lighter in those days. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Czb8UzmJ1mw

Gosh who cares? He intentionally was looking like a jerk, the band was still on the freakin' cigar! That's what people dig in college sports these days, a little bit of a bad boy image. If you don't get to celebrate after beating Purdue when do you get to?

Nebraska fires 9-3 Coach Bo Pelini

January I think. His buyout drops a million if they wait until January.

We were a more complete team then. It's possible that at the end of the season the BG game was going to look like a huge fluke and the Mizzou game was closer to the norm. Or the BG game was the norm and Mizzou was a fluke. If it were the latter I could see Wilson losing his job, but without having a complete season it's impossible to look back on it and tell.

We didn't do so hot because we lacked shooters and they could triple team the post and leave everyone else wide-open. Having a football player risk injury to add depth to our strongest position wouldn't have suddenly gotten us to a tourney. Plus, it's not like it looked like (at the time) we would need to bring in more depth for the position, DD was developing into the kind of player Latham would be, Vonleh was a question mark, Fisher was still around, Hanner chillin'. It would have been superfluous. Heck, this year if DD hadn't been injured it would be superfluous to have them both.

Honestly, what helped me turn the corner on Wilson some is Diamont's progress during the season. He was a much better QB the last game he started than the first even if he has a long way to go. He needed that redshirt season but not too bad. I mean, I still wouldn't have been sad to hear that Wilson was being fired, but I can survive another year.  After all, it's IU Football. I can't care too much.

    The nation's perspective on IUBB

There aren't going to be perfect comparisons. If you rephrase it "haven't been successful in decades" then it works better. I was going to go with my Niners, but their "couple of years where we think everything is going to be great again before disappointment sets in" were a lot more successful than the Zeller years. They at least sniffed the championships.

You mean, starting last year when we had a strong post presence in Vonleh or starting earlier this year before BBall season started?

I can't believe that JTB broke his ankle in the last regular season game. Especially with Miss State losing and opening up one play-off spot already. I wonder how good this new kid will end up being. Since they're the anti-IU he'll probably be a stud.

Guys, we're going to lose to Purdue. Purdue. Unless we get a stop here... and actually score at some point. Michigan is having a better game against OSU.
