  It's OK. It's still pretty on topic. This is one of the biggest issues facing TB in his decision. His top two choices have a lot of uncertainty. I'm not surprised that he is waiting until the spring given that, by spring signing period he should know who he is (or isn't) playing for and/or the extent of Syracuse's issues. I don't know how he could make a decision before knowing these things, which means it's going to be a long long long winter until we find out. Syracuse's board is a mix on him right now. Some people super pessimistic that Kentucky offered, some people still sure that Syracuse has him. They totally discount Indiana because of his mom's comments.

What a weird opinion to be held by a third stringer. I bet he got his butt chewed out for it. It's not like having NFL dreams would be at all rational for him, Marcus Mariota can post things like that.

I think Crean's lack of job security is a bigger hurdle for recruits than anything at Syracuse. You don't commit somewhere when you don't know who you'll be playing for. 

Love it. It was a long long weekend guys. No Niners football, No Indiana Basketball for three whole days? I'm lucky I survived. We made it through though, and now we start one of the greatest stretches of the year! Championship football Friday and Saturday, Indiana BBall Saturday, an easy Niners game on Sunday, then a big Indiana game next Tuesday! It truly is a joyous time... unless we lose.

Since they're DIII I think we're safe.  The day you turn on Crean though, I think this whole place will come down. 

They're actually all on clapping. Except the one entitled "Questions to which the answer is 'Cody Zeller'" which features such entries to like "How do you field a successful team?" or "How do you develop a big?" or "What does it take to reach the Tourney?"

If Louis beats OSU then they're going to make us straight up weep when we play them. Crean's teams have a history of under-performing under the hot lights of a neutral court, we can't combine that with a team that is truly better than we are too! I am hoping that OSU beats them by like 15 and shows they were way overranked. 

It's not a Bible, it's a massive book of plays that you keep over on the table and never use successfully. 

Clemson is terrible this year. They're ranked under my brother's from another mother Stephen F. Austin in Ken Pom.   Granted, if we lose another game we'll be there too.

It's part of the same article already posted and discussed here. About how IU deceived them. With any luck, Syracuse will lose a couple of scholarships because of their malfeasance and it won't matter who was in the lead.

Glad to hear it too. The real bummer is that Pitt is OK but not great. Lower half of Big Ten if they were in it. If we have the team we thought we did at the beginning of the year we're looking at a safe win.

They dominated pre-merger right? You just prompted me to look at their wikipedia page instead of relying on memory and I am so on the mark with the Bears. A disappointing loss in the championship game in the mid-00s? A series of championships spanning multiple decades but none since the late 80s? A coach who got them that last championship but then was fired after some disappointing years but remains a legend? Come on. 

Yeah, but I mean, if you get to choose between being part of IU Football or IU Basketball, which do you choose? At least you'd get to see what it's like to play a game with people watching you. Maybe even to win a conference game.

Really? He went from being a walk-on to being the star of the team and got a free education. Maybe he cared more about playing basketball than the name on his jersey. 

All right? You're the one who said they weren't obsessed though. If every one of our posts ended talking about Rutgers then people could rightfully call us obsessed, even if we were laughing at them.

Why does that make them any less obsessed? A bully can be obsessed with their target. A soldier obsessed with the enemy. They don't have to love us to be obsessed. Bringing up the same school over and over despite the topic being entirely unrelated? It means they can't get us out of their heads, however they express it.

I was just hoping he'd see the conversation about him and answer spontaneously.
