UM Graduate Transfer Max Bielfeldt To IU

All Ive got to say is "Why not?". MSU always has kids like him in the post. They may not be super stars but they grind it out, play great defense, and rebound. Heck thats more than we got from Perea last year. I think he would be a great 1 year addition -
I said that all year after seeing the EWU game in person. Heck of a player and competitor!

That could easily be Juwan Morgan's spot. He is 6' 8" and if he spends all this time in Cook Hall, he could be a bigger plus for us than DD. Morgan has a shot and has a low post game while DD's offense consisted of put backs

(2018) SF Sidney Wilson to St. John's

Yeah but all of us have been IU fans for years. Recruits that aren't aware of IU sometimes make a mistake with the name, not a big deal -

Those three were dismissed but five other players were also caught but broke down (lots of tears) and apologized and stayed on the team. Three of the players that were caught but stayed on the team were Ray Tolbert, Landon Turner, and Mike Woodson. Tolbert and Woodson of course were two of the best players so of course that helped their cause. Knight did dismiss players, but he also let things slide with really good players at times -

I have nothing invested in his case. Im not saying he is guilty or innocent. We don't know what happened. We don't know the intentions of anyone involved. Im just saying both sides have their story. -

"Separate allegations of sexual assault by Sulaimon came from two female students in the 2013-14 academic year. Both students voiced allegations publicly, but neither filed a complaint through the Office of Student Conduct or took legal action through the Durham Police Department. The students declined to discuss their allegations with The Chronicle." Another article that talks about the situation http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/11/reserve-outrage-over-rasheed-sulaimon-going-to-maryland/ No one really knows what happened. There were allegations that he sexually assaulted two female students but they didn't even file a complaint with the university or the police. Its a weird situation but you have to expect that Maryland looked into it on a deep level. -

Also , I don't know if it was mentioned but Hanner was present at the time. Disappointing that these guys haven't learned but it seems that they are being held too accountable either -

Ridiculous. You would think that he would've learned a lesson after he almost lost his life because of some very bad decisions and now this. Doesn't matter if its going to be legalized or if people don't agree with the law, the fact is that he broke the law and broke rules. I feel sorry for the kid because of all he has gone through, but enough is enough -
Knowing how much water a verbal commitment holds these days, we'll see in a year if he is still Michigan bound

All of the years Ive kept a close watch on recruiting and I'd never heard a recruit or parent/guardian refer to it as a business decision.

Several of the owners in the NBA want to boost NBA D league pay and whatnot. The NBA D league is broadcasted live to Youtube and is on NBA TV for all to see. I feel that in the next few years all this stuff will just continue to pick up speed. I would really like to see the NBA and the NCAA come together and work something out to help both sides

Well actually according to updated scholarship info, Purdue does actually have one scholarship open now. I forgot that Bryson Scott had transferred so they do have one spot open -

With Hill coming in, they are now at 13 -
And none are choosing to go overseas and make good money either. No one is being "forced" to go to college.

ehh doesn't scare me. Octeus will be very hard to replace for them. Does anyone know what Purdues schedule is looking like so far for next year? I think one of the reasons they were so successful last year is because they had one of the weakest schedules -
I didn't say anything about about limiting options….. Im just saying that everyone seems to forget that the D league is right there. Im also interested to see where this goes

Saw an article about this whole Swanigan deal on Bleacher Report and read Roosevelt Barnes referring to Swanigan's college decision as a "business decision". If that isn't super sketchy, I don't know what it. In a radio interview this week Izzo kind of alluded to the fact that there were problems between MSU and Barnes... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2457749-why-cbb-coaches-everywhere-should-take-notice-of-caleb-swanigans-decommitment

There is another option: the NBA D league doesn't have an age limit. They pay isn't all that great, but players have to learn that they have to earn the big contracts.
-
Honestly players who don't want to go to college should just go straight to the D League. They won't make as much money in the D League, but they will have tons of exposure to NBA scouts. On a side note I honestly don't believe that there is this huge problem of kids being "forced" to go to college. Only a small number of high schoolers have actually gone to play overseas. The only ones (Brandon Jennings and Mudiay) went overseas because they didn't qualify for college. If kids were actually being "forced" to go to college even if they didn't want to, there would be A LOT more of them going to play in Europe or in the D League

He played high school basketball here but he is from Utah, not Indiana
