  1. Those articles mean nothing? So we have no come to the point where fans believe stupid rumors and whisperings instead of actual interviews with people. I know he isn't going to come out and say that he wants to leave the Celtics, but he is pretty clear in all those articles (which you wouldn't know cause you most likely didn't read them)

IU Vs Gtown (Post Game Thread)

Don't forget that he turns it over a lot as well. He has a lot of potential but no one is going to take a risk on him at this point. Can't shoot, no D, can't finish at the rim in traffic well, and turns the ball over.

They draft off potential but most of the "potential" guys end up in the D league. Look at Vonleh. Lots of people didn't think he should leave and he is in the D league. He was injured to start the year but since has hardly played for a terrible team, and he is now in the D league on assignment.

Playing Holt and Perea together would create a negative mismatch for us. Neither one can really be counted on to score.

(2015) C Thomas Bryant to IU

Just sounds (and looks, according to the box scores) that he is no where near ready for competition with the big boys

    Hoosier Transfers and Recruiting Targets

He has had three good games it seems. Posted a double in a few, other than that, not very impressive numbers against lower level competition

My question is what about the accountability of the players? They make bad passes and make turnovers. I understand that Crean makes mistakes. There are lots of things he does that I don't agree with. But more often than not, the players frustrate me with their dumb mistakes (enter Troy Williams and Robinson).  I think a coach can teach strategy and prepare the team they want but in the end the players have to execute and that didn't happen in the final stretch against Georgetown.
  9. You caught me on the last one, but the rest I posted I had read before and posted them on this forum before. So yeah take the one that was written early and talked about the rumor against the others I posted that had quotes from him saying he was staying and wasn't budging. You barely looked for articles and and argued that they didn't exist, I post ones that exist and you don't read them and continue to argue your point. Typical on this forum

Hasn't this forum basically turned into a "fire Crean" forum by now? haha

There were 10 pages of similar articles on google….
  12. Michigan and Nebraska have lost to multiple cupcakes..so they didn't improve much through the pre conference schedule. MSU has lost to a cupcake team and lack scoring. Sounds like you support those teams more so i think you are on the wrong board...
  13. I still only see Wisconsin, OSU, and Maryland giving us trouble. We will probably go 1-1 against MSU, but after the pre conference, not a lot of big ten teams looking strong. IU is still in the top 4 of the Big Ten. Michigan, Nebraska, and MSU all looked terrible and lost to some nobodies. The sky isn't falling and I think we still finish in the top 4 of the Big Ten

Thats how things seem to work around here most of the time hahaha
  15. No matter how many interviews Stevens does saying he has no interest in leaving the Celtics, some IU fans think that is some sort of secret code that he is coming hahah

Fischer started the basketball season injured and slowly but surely came back. (http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/9727861/luke-fischer-indiana-hoosiers-shoulder-injury)   The peak was his last game where he scored 10. Crean was invested in him and surprised by it. I have a feeling he was just as confused as we all were. We as fans are still left in the dark about why he left. People came up with the homesick theory, then the stories about Williams, etc. I haven't really agreed with the players getting arrested and failing drug tests.  And yeah Ive heard the rumor that Vonleh was upset (can't find any article online with a direct quote from Vonleh stating that he wasn't used like he should've been).  I defend Crean? News to me. I'm not defending anyone. I just try to look at things without delving into conspiracy theories. And I just kind of realize that no matter how many times someone posts their complaints about Crean on a message board, he is still currently the coach at IU. Im just realistic and have more important things to worry about in life.

He didn't see the action because he was hurt. Him transferring seems to have had nothing to do with basketball and everything to do with his teammates

Luke Fischer has showed that he is human too at Marquette. He had a whopping 6 points and 6 rebounds in 26 minutes against North Dakota U … If players aren't playing, there is a reason

Thats ridiculous. We are a top 30 team so we would be in

    IU vs Georgetown Game Thread

What killed us were: -Williams' turnovers -leaving Holt in too long -Hartman's D -Robinson getting in the game at all the IU players simply didn't execute the game plan. Williams is a great player but his turnovers and bad decisions seem to outweigh his offensive performance

    IU vs Georgetown Game Thread

Can we ever get a pro IU announcer on one of these games. The whole game all they have done is blow smoke up Georgetown's butt. They never seem to give too much credit to IU. Its always about how Georgetown can beat Indiana, not anything about how IU can keep it going.

    IU vs Georgetown Game Thread

I question the number of attempts those guys shooting over 45 and 50 % though cause all reports about Georgetown Ive been reading show that they are a terrible team offensively. Smith Rivera is their leading scorer but has terrible efficiency

    Hartman

Like you said, Yogi has been our best player. Without him we don't win the SMU game or the Butler game. I understand what you mean about Colin and Emmit's role which has been very important, but stat wise they haven't provided much. So maybe a moral life saver for the team but not when we are talking about winning games.  And I have to argue that JBJ has been inconsistent. He had one game where he scored 5 points but other than that he has had double figure games. Also, his defense has improved each game. He is never going to be Oladipo but he hasn't been given the credit on D he deserves, but then again he wasn't brought in for his D he was brought in for his scoring. He scores with ease. His shot hasn't been falling form 3 the last few games but he has found tons of other ways to do so. Also he is a good of a rebounder for a guard.  Agree to disagree I guess

    Hartman

Yogi and JBJ are the real reason. Hartman and Emmitt have helped but they haven't "saved" the season. Maybe for some of the IU fans that were on the ledge
