When I saw the announcement earlier I came to this site expecting outrage as well hahah
-
The reason why Im not impressed with their season like I wasn't with Wichita State last year is that both play in weak conferences. Kentucky has played a few ranked teams and won, but other than that, their conference is made up of nobodies. Florida is usually good but this year they are terrible as well. If Kentucky played in the ACC, Big Ten, or Big East, they most likely would've lost a game or two by name

Bringing in the recruits and everything he has done to be successful, I agree he has been a genius at putting the whole thing together. I don't know if you actually read my post but I was talking about how he continuously seems to throw his players under the bus and put the blame for anything on them combined with the way he yells at his players during games makes him look like an idiot. Thats what I was referring to...

Thats how its been explained to me

I don't know if what Cal does can really be called "coaching". For a "big time" coach, I don't think Ive ever heard a coach throw his own players under the bus as much as he does. He is another one of those coaches that is just constantly yelling at his players on the sideline. Dude looks like an idiot

Seems we are establishing a connection with the football team. First Fuchs and next year Donavan Hale. Hale is out of Florida just signed with the football team but is expected to play basketball as well.

One of the best posts Ive seen on here in a LONG WHILE
-
Its been confirmed by an interview with Tom Crean. Its been confirmed by insiders who run Inside the Hall. All confirmed!
-
Another reason we don't necessarily need a 7 foot big. If we could get another guy like DJ white thats all this team would need

I was talking about the Civil War being ended. Of course the violence and people being displaced from their homes is still occurring. That ,unfortunately, is occurring all over the world

(2015) C Derrik Smits to Valparaiso
bnkepner replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Yeah I don't really see them as being comparable. I was more just making the comparison to ruffle a few feathers haha -
A lot better than Hartman
-
Well the situation there has died down in the last few years so thats good
-
You're right! Wow thats sad

(2015) C Derrik Smits to Valparaiso
bnkepner replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
He's probably on par with Priller. Priller averaged 17 & 4 his senior year. Priller played in a more competitive division in high school than Smits also. Priller played in the top division of Texas basketball, which is pretty darn competitive. -
(2017) SF Zach Gunn to Ball State
bnkepner replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Gunn, Scruggs, Wilkes, and a few other 2017 recruits all play on the same AAU team and are really big on IU. A kid from the same AAU team plays at my alma mater and told me they are all big on IU and Crean -
His parents have nothing to do with it. Im pretty sure they are living in Australia. Ed Smith is his legal guardian I'm pretty sure

I don't remember. It was a month or so ago. Ive read too many academic articles, written too many term papers, and taken too many exams to remember now
-
May didn't play for Dean Smith. Smith retired in 1997. Matt Doherty recruited Sean May to UNC

Kentucky has it really nice in the SEC though. If they played in the Big Ten or the ACC or even the Big East they would've lost multiple games by now. They've played maybe two or three quality games this year. Their strength of schedule is 11th? I guess I really don't understand SOS because that seems about 200 spots too high
-
Plus a decent shot from anywhere on the court!
-
This particle article doesn't. But about a month ago I posted an article on here that said it was pretty much down to Mizzou and IU even though UK had entered the picture. Syracuse doesn't have much room for him. Their scholarship situation is as bad as ours. Plus the will have two returning starting bigs next year

(2016) SG Eron Gordon to Seton Hall
bnkepner replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
True, but Eric Gordon was a rare quality of player that we hadn't had for years before or after him. Still there aren't many kids like Eron who can drop 30 points easy in a game. Kid is a high 4star and will likely end high school as a 5 star so why not add him? The logic of some people on this site is confusing. Complain, whine, and moan when we sign 2 and 3 stars but a kid that is 4/5 star from Indiana is interested in coming here and people are complaining about him. Stupid -
Since Kentucky came into the game after Hoosier Hysteria its been 4 teams, even though Ive read several article saying its honestly down to Missouri and Indiana. fingers crossed
