im not sure you understood the idea of freshman being ineligible. It would not help prepare kids for the NBA more. It would be the same as it is now. Kids would just go to the D league or to Asia for a year and play ball then onto the NBA. It would still be a one and done situation

Don't get me going on Skaggs. That kid is the biggest cry baby Ive ever seen play basketball. He tries to start up with opposing players and constantly whines throughout every game of theirs. Glad he finally got suspended. Adaway and Logansport could be a lot better if their coached cared more about winning and less about his kid scoring. This years Logan team finally makes me proud to be a Logan grad (well except both Skaggs)

Dumb idea. This would not be any sort of solution at all. The NCAA needs to work hand in hand with the NBA to find a solution. Both sides need to sit down and figure something out that helps both leagues. The NBA is not as competitive as it used to be and one reason is that too many players are getting to the NBA without enough experience in the game (that can be traced to the awful AAU leagues but thats another discussion). The NBA would benefit from better prepared players and the NCAA would benefit from having players stay longer

Well this particular forum is for "Indiana Hoosiers Basketball", which none of this has anything to do with. I agree that there can be off topic discussion but it should stay to at least basketball because there are other forums and places where people can go spread their ideas of politics and their opinions. Politics shouldn't be on here because it always leads to the same result…nothing

Great player, Ive seen him play a lot.  His team did make a comeback in the second half but they got their butts handed to them by Kokomo most of the game

Scruggs is a 2017 recruit. He is only a sophomore in high school and we are recruiting him heavily. We were the first to offer him. Swanigan has made it known from the beginning that he has no interest in coming to IU. Plus his situation is really sketchy as he has a "handler"

There are multiple players in 16 that should be our focus point and there are too many greats in 2017 to over sign in 2016

I saw him play last year and have seen video of him this year and Im still not impressed. He is a great player but like Ive said, he is not on IUs level

Ive seen Vijay play a few times and I just don't see him ending up here. I think the 2016 class is going to be too full to bring him in, but if people on here complain about JBJ's explosiveness and defense, then there is no way they would want Vijay. Vijay is a great player but I just don't see him ending up here.

There is honestly no way Yogi goes anywhere after this year. He is just not ready for the NBA at this moment. Barring use going all the way this year, he will definitely be back next year

I would see it your way if he was a complete scrub, but he was recruited by some great programs to play basketball so I think we are lucky to get him basically for nothing. There are no negatives to this deal, only positives.

Hartman has had some good moments this year but I still think the last stretch of games he has hurt us more than helped. He gets abused by bigs, then anyone he guards on the wing blows right by him. We might get  3 from him on the offensive end once a game but other than that he adds nothing offensively (besides being the permanent screener). I know people are going to hate on me for it, but thats how I see it

Can we organize some sort of class for announcers nationwide to teach them  how to pronounce "Hanner Mosquera- Perea". its not that hard. They either butcher "Mosquera" or "Perea". This announcer keeps calling him "Perera". As a Spanish major its killing me

I think both Morgan and Anunoby both suffer a bit because they play lesser competition in their high school seasons. I doubt Crean and the staff would be bringing in Morgan if he was considered "lazy". Not too many "lazy" players get named "Most Improved Player" in the EYBL (top level AAU summer league). Player lesser level talent sometimes makes it too easy to take a play or two off. We've even seen it here at IU when IU plays cupcakes
