    TOM CREAN FIRED

    As would I
  2. 1. Gary Harrison 2. Trevon Blueitt - I saw him play with the Indiana AllStars with Blackmon the summer before their freshman year in college and Blueitt was by far the best player on the court. 3. Trey Lyles - After he de-comited it seemed like recruiting started to take a significant turn. 4. Shake Milton - He has flourished into a great scorer at SMU 5. Swanigan - I know people will say he was never interested, but Crean and staff offered him late in the game. There were some health and weight issues for him but Purdue seemed to be on him from the start. There were a lot of Indiana kids that didn't seem like superstars but would've been solid rotation players here. Kyle Guy, Joey Brunk, Kellen Dunham, and Bryant McIntosh are a few that come to mind.

    McDonald's All American Rosters

It was epic in state....we just didn't land any of them hahaha

    OG out for the season

It's not up to the university, its up to the individual players. They are covered by confidentially and can choose to have it made public knowledge or not.

Gregg Doyel on Podcast On The Brink

I was looking forward to this episode with Doyel cause he was supposedly going to be frank and up front, but all that I heard was the same old stuff we keep hearing from Crean and the players. Im tired of the coach speak and want to him some honesty and some real solutions. On one hand Doyel talked about how great Crean is at developing players, then goes on to talk about how all of the players haven't developed this year....makes no sense. He also said Crean is getting better players. I don't understand that part either. I think Crean is brining in more kids designed for his style of play (whatever that is), but we were pulling in McDonalds All Americans players and top notch players in the state, hasn't been the same the last few classes. I really like the players we have been pulling in, but I wouldn't say that each class of recruits has been better than previous classes.

    Pete Diprimio article on Subbing.

Ive just come to accept the fact that I don't and will never understand his thinking behind substitutions. Takes guys out when they get hot. Sometimes sits guy most of the second half after having a great first half. It happened too many times with Zeisloft, happened a lot in today's game even.

IU vs Illinois Game Thread - 1/7 @ 5:00 ET

Id like to see the same info about McRoberts from the other games cause I just don't see the positive of having him out there. He tends to get beat by his man on defense and seems to try to get rid of the ball as soon as he gets it. Seems scared to shoot the ball

    College Bball Thread

The only problem is that this is about the 3rd time he's done something like this so this apology is only words at this point. On ESPN there were several analysts that had spoken with Grayson this last offseason and he was apologetic about his tripping incidents in the past. He's just a brat who gets upset when things don't go his way.
  9. It seems like last season the staff pushed him hard for a commit and it never happened. I think we backed off after that
  10. Wilkes tweeted that he wasn't there.

(2017) PF Clifton Moore Jr. to IU

Ive seen four (very short) highlight clips of him and everything Ive seen from him , the majority of his offense work comes from starting on the block or top of the free throw lane. Not a lot of dribble drive, but mostly back to the basket. I think the majority of us are seeing him being a skinny kid and all of a sudden thinking he is going to be stationed out on the wing. But thats not what Im seeing on these short videos. Granted the competition level will be different but it seems like his go to move is either on the block or near the top of the free throw lane, backing his man down and shooting a jump shot over him. It will be interested to get more video, especially as his high school season starts in the next few months

(2017) PF Clifton Moore Jr. to IU

Stretch 4s still play in the paint. Look at someone like C WAt. He was a stretch 4 at IU and played some in the paint and on the perimeter. Just look at Malik Williams, who we were recruiting and who Moore put up 20 & 12 against, he plays inside and out. I expect the same from Moore.

(2017) PF Clifton Moore Jr. to IU

Also on Inside the Hall or somewhere that Chuck Martin was recruiting him kind of incognito for months as to not draw the attention of other programs to Moore.

(2017) PF Clifton Moore Jr. to IU

Over at Inside the Hall Alex spoke with a member of the staff or someone close to the staff( he didn't name names) that said the staff is beyond excited for this commitment. According to the same source Crean believes that Moore is the most undervalued player he has every recruited and secured a commitment from.
  15. Am I wrong in thinking that we don't have a good relationship with La Lumiere? Tons of talented kids playing up there and it seems like the staff isnt really even offering scholarships to kids playing there

True, but there are too many right now. They didn't always have so many and games were broadcasted just fine

My only wish is that we could limit the amount of media timeouts. Watching any college game gets ruined by so many tv timeouts

    (2016) C Thon Maker

This rumor about his age was just that...a rumor. All the insiders on all the draft shows refuted it.
  19. I have been watching the whole time and Crean has been awesome on the whole show. I have loved his analysis of all the players. He has also had some great stories on some of the players (Thon Maker and Malachi Richardson being two of them). He said Malachi Richardson told the staff he was coming to IU on his last visit there. But Coach Crean has held his own and been the most informative and fun to watch on the show.

(2016) PF T.J. Leaf to UCLA

Plus if it pretty much comes out that your coach told other players and coaches that you "just aren't good enough", doesn't bode well for the future. Miller did the same thing last offseason to a recruit.
  21. He wasn't the first person to do the type of edits with recruits in jerseys in stuff so we will easily be able to find someone else to do the same job. I will give him credit for what he has done so far but he isn't irreplaceable
  22. Porter Jr, Howard, Wilkes, and Scruggs are the big recruits for 2017 that I want.

    Indiana Elite on TV

Is AAU ball usually that ugly to watch? It was sloppy as all get out

(2016) SG Bruce Brown to Miami

Title is kind of misleading though. He didn't really dunk ON Maker. Maker did run down the court and almost catch up with him but was still behind him when BB dunked. I still want BB bad.
  25. 1. Thon 2. Rawle 3. De'ron Davis  4. Bruce Brown I know it doesn't happen very often but Id be fine staying with this group and saving some room for 2017 because there are way too many top prospects with Indiana connections and I don't want to lose out on them. I think a class of the four I listed could easily be the best class we've ever had and all four could start as freshman. Thon and Rawle are absolute starters and Davis and Brown could definitely start a few games here and there
