Look at what Donavan is doing this year at Florida…..no thanks. And no thanks on "Lon Krueger" either -
Potential fallout from coaching change

I definitely think players should get second chances. Even Knight gave players second chances. Stan has got to go. He adds nothing to the team. Troy is 50/50. Id keep Yogi, Rob, and Nick JBJ and Hanner need a reality check. I was pumped after watching JBJ in high school. I thought he'd be the second coming of Eric Gordon but Ive been severely disappointed. Besides that group, I could care less if everyone else left -
Potential fallout from coaching change

Im hoping there is a bit of turnover though. There are a few players who just seem to not fit the mold to play here -

The thing is there has been an obvious need to switch things up over the last 10 games and there hasn't been any apparent attempt to make any change. They are just playing terrible and I see us getting blown out by MSU at home, maybe winning a game in the Big Ten tourney and getting an NIT invite -

If you bring in a big enough coach, players will stay -

Ive been a Crean supporter and been very lenient on him this year but over the last 7-8 games, he has not changed a thing even though we have continued to stink it up. Im done with him -
(2016) C Isaac Humphries to Kentucky

He succeeded at St Mary's after he transferred. Seems like he didnt get a chance to play his style of ball. He was a stretch big that could hit the outside shot and was mostly forced to play down low here. His inside outside game was strong at St Marys -
I just want to see them play some actual competition. They've had one of the easiest schedules so far.

Well I know that but to see guys like Hulls, Elston, and Creek make it with similar caliber teams and Sheehey is the one who gets cut..a little fishy. Talent is part of the equation but either way getting cut does not look good. Ego, being a team player, and a lot of other factors come into play. I mean he isn't sticking with the Ft. Wayne team most likely for the same reason. Just doesn't look good.
-
I love the attitude that Will had at IU but it seems that his ego is kind of taking over with this. I mean he played in a lower league in Montenegro and got cut. There are always other lower level league he could play in but is he really in the position to be demanding trades and whatnot? I think he might just got upset that he wasn't the main go to guy in Ft. Wayne
-
The thing is, Will got cut from his team overseas. And that was in the lower leagues of Montenegro…
-
Asking for a trade in the D league is pretty much just asking to be cut. Its the D league and there are a million guys out there ready to step up and take your spot. He is lucky he got the chance after getting cut from his team in Montenegro.

Rivals top 75 for 2017 recruits

#2 Michael Porter Jr. used to play on the same AAU team as Wilkes, Scruggs, and Gunn and IU was his first offer. -
Yogi was here before Kenny Johnson. Lousiville better worry about their own players and keep them from assaulting people on and off the court lol

I hope Crean is running them hard in practice. Thats no fault of a coach. They are athletes and while not professionals, this is what they DO. If they are giving up because they are being practiced too hard…suck it up. By all accounts they are all stars in practice but can't back it up on the court when it counts. I just wish we had a squad filled with guys who gave it their all. Too many times last year and this year I saw a team that when push came to shove they just seemed to put their tails between their legs and quit. This years squad was A LOT better than that at the beginning of the season, but they've completely disappeared.

Not say crean is bad coach just questioning some of his choice

I also don't know if Glass really cares. The program is making money so thats probably about all he cares about. The football team comes back every year saying "this will be the year for a bowl game" and jack squat so Im not sure Mr. Glass really cares. Im with the group that thinks Crean and Glass should get the boot at the same time. People probably won't agree with me but I think they are tied at the hip -
All the scouts are saying he is worth the risk but he is not as polished as highlight videos make him out to be. He has been struggling recently since playing against high competition.
-
NV had better numbers in one year than BJ has had in two years combined (and probably all 4). Anya was out of shape all his first year and didn't seem to care and still puts up bad numbers this year.

If you really follow whats going on with Maker, he does not sound like he is seriously considering college anymore as a whole. On top of all that, most colleges seem to be shying away from him as well. He hasn't had scouts showing up at his games anymore. He just played at La Lumiere within the last few weeks and reports were that no scouts showed up. Plus if you look at his stats from his last month of games or so…not looking good.

I think the players deserve just as much blame for this one. I saw James Blackmon Jr play a few times his senior year in high school and was so exited to see him play this year for the Hoosiers. He had some great games at the beginning of the year but come Big Ten time he seems to turn into Casper the friendly ghost after halftime. He is out on the court but does nothing and lacks a lot of passion and aggression. Sadly this years team has started to remind me of last years. Its more of Yogi vs the other team and last night Yogi looked like he didn't even care. I supported Crean at the beginning of the year and for most of the season. I think he is a good guy and a good coach but I just don't see it getting any better so we might as well find someone who can do a better job. I think a coaching change will also weed out some of the players who don't really need to be here anymore. IU is right back to where it was the last few years Davis was here.

Except he is averaging 20 minutes a game and averages 4pts…. He maybe a be a better defensive presence than Perea but only averages 1 more block than Hanner. Perea has him beat in every other stat category though

Crean mentioned this in a press conference a couple of weeks ago. He said he knows that fans and media question his sub patterns and that they don't understand and he doesn't expect them to. -
Marshall Plumlee and the word "dominate" should not go in the same sentence hahah
-
Its funny though, he was suspended for one game earlier this week against Syracuse, then they brought him back to face Miami, then decide to kick him off the team.

He looked good on offense but he got beat rather easily on D, so I'm guessing thats still part of the equation he isn't getting
