I would like to think that we could just add one player and fix things, but the lack of effort on defense and offense will not be fixed with one player. There has been no consistency from our squad all year. Yogi Ferrell has been the only consistent player on this team for two years. Everyone else suffers from Jekyll & Hyde syndrome where they have one great game followed by 3 or 4 games where they completely disappear 

After a decade or so of subpar seasons everyone is looking for something to put hope in. IF there was anything actually being built towards being a long term winner I could agree with your point, but after a few season with Mike Davis, he wasn't building anything and now after 7 years of Crean we are back in a valley after a year or two peak that he had. Nothing is being fixed long term. Coach Crean is just putting duck tape on the situation right now and we need the thing to be rebuilt

There was a nice video of him getting dunked on by a 6'6" player on Friday or Saturday

On ESPN they were saying how ND doesn't play good D but can outscore everything and win games

Had nothing to do with the competition. An open shot is an open shot. 

Health was never an issue. 

Im just as upset about the season as anyone else but anyone who says that this team give a huge effort these last two games wasn't watching close enough. Kills me that they didn't play this way all year but I give it up to them for giving it all they had these last two games

Troy is a tough one for me. He had a few good plays but immediately turns around and shoots the team right in the foot. 

If we would've played with as much effort during the whole season as we did during the big ten tourney, this season would've been completely different

This team's effort the last two games showed that we still deserve it. If we continue to play hard-nosed like we have, we could win a few games in the tourney

Officiating killed us.  It seems like last year and several times this year we only turn the intensity on with about 3 minutes left to go and tonight we could buy a bucket in the last 5 minutes

I can see both sides of the argument. Tough call, we'll see on Sunday but I'm not too confident

Chalk this one up to getting screwed over by the refs and not having shots fall. I will never understand having multiple players who can't score on the court at the same time.

They showed the replay of the "lane violation" and EVERYONE was in the lane at the same time. Pathetic officiating. I literally don't remember the last time I saw such bad officiating. wow

Rule #1 of being a shooter: keep shooting no matter what.  If he keeps shooting, they will eventually start falling

You could tell JBJ got slapped on the right side of his face. His eye and the surrounding eye were beat red when they walking towards the bench. Ridiculous

So let me get this straight For Maryland to get a call all we have to do is breathe on them. For IU to get a call an IU player has to get slammed to the floor by 2 or 3 Maryland players. I know I am an IU fan and am a little biased, but this has been a horribly officiated game

Super one sided officiating wise. Hopefully we get some calls in the second half. Hopefully JBJ can pull out of his funk and take some jumpers. We are going all out, not making the best decisions or playing our best ball, but we are still in this one
