I wish people would realize that apart from being an IU alum, DD is also an ESPN guy who just likes to say things just to get listeners. I enjoy hearing his comments on his show (his in game commentary, no so much).

That World Summit game will be SUPER entertaining this year. Ive watched bits of pieces of it in the past but I plan on watching the majority of it this year (it turns into a boring dunkfest after awhile). The world team with Thon, Ben Simmons, Jamaal Murray, amongst others, will be really entertaining 

Definitely still a possibility. Thon hasn't even made it official yet either

I don't see how Kansas keeps getting away with using ineligible players? Kansas stayed in the top 25 all year long because of their name and were a 2 seed because of their name.

Not trying to rag on the guy but this is probably a plus. He didn't play up to his freshman potential and was bad mojo with off the court issues

He is a great player but I couldnt stand watching him throw his head back every single freaking drive into the lane

He may have heard about IU and Exum but Thon was already in the states when we started recruiting Exum.

All the insiders and people that follow recruiting have continued to say that Murray is probably the best player on that Orangeville Prep team. He is going to be REALLY good

I don't remember where else I read it but it seems like it wouldn't be in Crean's personality to leave Indiana. He seems to think he can change the basketball world in one swoop and I think his ego will prevent him from just deciding to leave for a lower level job.

I don't think he is a 2015 recruit though cause I can't find anyone that is a 5 star, 6-10 PF in ESPN's top 100 that looks like this kid

It was interesting that Crean said in one of his last radio shows that if he could do it all over again he would've reshirted Max. The only problem with Hoetzel complaining about his lack of playing time is that he didn't get it done while he was in there. Kids feel too entitled to things these days. You gotta earn it!

I don't think Fife or Lewis would leave their current job to take the same exact job at IU. Fife was offered an assistant spot and declined it. If and of them were to come here, they would have to be the lead assistant.

Im pretty sure it was just Isaiah and Jay. Although Ive read in a lot of places that Knight told Edwards to go pro because he would be allowed back on the team. George McGinnis did leave early for the ABA but he didn't play under Knight.

Damon was interviewed for the IUWBB head coaching job but said he wasn't interested. He coaches his daughter at Butler. Fife was offered a job by Crean several years ago but turned it down. Greg Graham is a high school coach...

I think Crean deciding to resign and go to another school is gone though. He was linked to several schools a week or two ago and now the "insiders" of college basketball don't have his name listed at any of the openings. 

It doesn't matter now, but with Haston we would've probably beat Maryland that year

I mean he stayed in the league for 13 years but was the 11th pick overall in the 2002 draft and his career average was 4.8 ppg and 4.1 rebounds. He was a body out there but definitely didn't live up to the projections
