Louisville lost A LOT this offseason too

Best to save judgments till we see him in full games. He was named Most Improved Player of last summers EYBL AAU league, which is the top AAU league in the states. That bodes well for him.

    2015 Transfers and Early Entries

I know Cal has done it in the past, but I just don't see him replicating what he had this year. I don't know if he can get a bunch of kids to buy into his platoon system again. I know he already has a number one recruiting class but I just don't see it this year

    (2016) C Thon Maker

I understand the money aspect of going overseas but I don't see the point as far as competition. He is not going to play in a top European league. He is most likely going to go to China or some smaller league where he won't face a lot of competition his size.

Except in limited minutes, Sheehey could still be relied up for offense. Hartman provides some short bursts of energy but thats about it. He is basically Etherington from last year with a few added benefits

    Troy Williams returning to IU!!!!!!

No I definitely understand that PG would be a great role model for Williams but I guess will have to stand pat at that because I still don't see any similarity, even with the stats and whatnot.  Williams reminds me more of someone like Gerald Green. Green has developed a shot in the last 5 years but relies mostly on his driving, dunking, and athleticism. And another point I guess we'll just have to disagree about is PG's game now. PG, in my mind and through all the games Ive seen, definitely relies on his jumper. He does use his athleticism to drive to the bucket but relies on his 3 and his midrange jumper

I know Hartman hustles like hardly anyone else on the team but I could easily see OG and Morgan stealing a lot of his minutes. I think Morgan probably comes in playing better D than Hartman in the post and OG plays better on the wing. Nothing definitive but apart from the hustle I didn't see much on D or on offense from Hartman last year to think he will have major minutes this year. I know Im gonna get a lot of flack for this haha

    2015 Transfers and Early Entries

Saw Doug Gottlieb and Jeff Borzello report that Nigel Williams-Goss is transferring from Washington. He would have to sit out a year, but would have two years of eligibility remaining.  Good replacement for Yogi huh?

Yeah Ive seen him in person and he is definitely 6' 10"

    Too many forwards?

No and I definitely agree that it was easier to say so after the season but if DD had not been hurt I wouldn't have been surprised, but Max probably would've still be unhappy and left and we'd be in the same spot haha

  13. I have to say I agree with him. Too many ticky tack fouls called that have no impact on the outcome of the game, they only slow it down. He also brings up a good point about the basketballs being different at every school. College basketball is still more entertaining to me than the NBA but I agree that there needs to be some changes

I even think Trey is a year away from being NBA ready but I feel that he is going to declare for the draft

    Too many forwards?

I had to go back and edit my post and you must have quoted it before so. I intended it to be a question to the original poster that he mentioned seeing OG in games. I saw a few of his games online and he is pretty darn athletic. Of course not as athletic as Troy but their shooting abilities are night and day and OG was able to lockdown on D more than Troy. So if all else fails, OG will be able to shoot the ball well. Troy definitely played bigger competition in HS but I think you could almost say that OG had more pressure put on him. His team lived and died by his scoring. It will be interesting to see him play against the competition next year. I think him and Morgan will be interesting to watch coming into this season.

    He's Troy with a shot and D?

    Troy Williams returning to IU!!!!!!

Troy with a consistent jump shot would be extremely scary! Fixed it for ya! haha

    Too many forwards?

He had planned on doing so with Hoetzel until Devin Davis' accident. You are right though. I don't see anyone getting redshirted this year

#3 for Kentucky. Dakari Johnson headed to the NBA. I don't really understand this one. He is a projected 2nd round pick. http://zagsblog.com/kentucky/kentuckys-dakari-johnson-will-declare-for-nba-draft/

    (2016) C Thon Maker

He is already listed as a lottery pick for 2016 mock drafts so I don't see him really staying past one year. I think Thon Maker kind of defines how basketball has changed. He can battle down low and he feels just as comfortable on the wing. He can create his own offense as well

    Too many forwards?

I could honestly see Morgan coming in and have an immediate impact. He plays very well with his back to the basket and can stretch out and hit jumpers. Holt can play defense in the post but has no jumper or offense game (other than put backs), Hartman was super unreliable on D, and Hanner was VERY unreliable in every aspect of the game. I think Morgan has just as much chance to make an impact as any of our post players not named Thomas Bryant

    Troy Williams returning to IU!!!!!!

Troy has to develop his shot and his defense but I don't see a close resemblance between him and PG. Same height and similar build but their games are completely different. Even if Troy improves his jump shot, it will never be his go to move (like it is for PG). Troy will always rely on his athleticism. I know its an old comparison but he needs to look at Oladipo and make himself a taller version. Oladipo improved his jumper, but it isn't his go to move. Oladipo still uses his athleticism to make plays at the bucket

    (2016) C Thon Maker

From everything Ive seen of him he will be closer to Zeller. Vonleh had trouble scoring in high school. Ive watched multiple games of Thon's and he runs the floor just as good as Zeller and has a WAY better jump shot.
