To keep things in perspective, that elite team was garbage from 3 land all season and shot out of their minds. That was rough timing for IU and the lead was never completely out of hand due to us shooting well. I think we cut it to 7 in the 2nd half. We just didn't have the big bodies last year to hold off Meeks and crew. Davis would have been HUGE in that game. Bryant, OG and Morgan are/were not build for that kind of banging. I keep hearing everyone say we are stuck with Crean. We don't have to be. Stop going to the games. Literally, empty half of Assembly Hall for these conference games and watch him be gone by end of season. Problem is, Crean has us all by the balls because we know more than likely he has a run up his sleeve. We know he is going to make some noise again soon and we are all going to be tuned in and hollaring along. That is the saga with Crean at the helm... and I don't know what to do about it anymore. I realize Blackmon is an elite shooter who isn't being utilized correctly (iu Charlie makes a good point) but he is a cancer on this team. That's just my opinion. Like I said, Crean treats that last foul just like the last timeout. It's going to the bus. It's ABSURD he won't let a player foul out. Especially the one with the hot hand. The overall team just looks to have a very low iq. Let's see, who are the heady players on this team? Rojo, De'ron, Juwan... Definitely not Blackmon or Newkirk.. Bryant is charged but I'm not sure I'd consider him as high iq.. We have NO ONE on this team who can control the team. I'd say Rojo but it's just not his personality. Blackmon is still just out here trying to get his. You can tell that every time he has the ball in his hands. He is looking for nothing else.
