We gotta just lay back and enjoy the process. I don't have any expectations honestly. I just want to see constant progress to set us up for next year. If we run at the NIT and win the thing, I'll be elated for this particular group of young men. I wouldn't be good with that at all even for next year but this is a complete hall pass year for me. Loving Smith and Durham getting 27 and 30 mins. Like someone else said, they are easily moldable. Justin Smith.. he's lost right now. Definitely going to need a year. He is WAY behind in his movements, at THIS level. Huge upside coming with him though. Pretty good game by Rojo. Settling in again hopefully. And Davis.. feed that big dog and let him eat! He's not athletic at all but makes up for it in patience. And u know what, I like Freddie this year. Operates exactly like he is supposed to. Yea.. weird night for free throws. I really wouldn't worry about it guys (along with Green ) hate to say it but we're not gonna see a whole lot of Cujo this year. He's still way too weak at this level. I personally "enjoyed" the hell out of Creans first 2 seasons. Just being able to sit back and watch player development rather than getting irate about every play that goes wrong like I was doing the last 2 or 3 seasons with Crean as it appeared the program was sliding backwards again. I have basically zero expectations other than to watch Archie put this system in place and get Indiana and surrounding state kids excited about IU bball again. That's all I want really, js to feel hopeful again. It's not a failure of a season if we just miss the tourney. Already drooling over watching a proper defense. Pairing Archie's respectful defensive with better recruits should be a thing of beauty in the next few years. TB coming back is a big deal for us next year. He had an okay year but was really not ready to be playing on the perimeter. We should quite honestly dominate with Bryant at the 4 and Davis at the 5.
