I'm with you on Beard. I thought they should have done a thorough background check on him, had extensive face- to- face conversations and unless something new and alarming was unearthed (I think the university and some of the fans have just a touch of "holier than thou" in them) then hired him BUT... they didn't. The guy they did hire seems to have quite a few positives and a pretty good track record at lower levels. I'm gonna give him a chance just like I gave Woodson a chance.
