I agree with that. The only problem is,Zellers don't come along very often(and that might become more infrequent if they don't get any help), and I don't think TWills are really big/strong enough at the four to get a team to a championship(and if they see they are going to be frequently matched up against much bigger guys they might come along more infrequently as well)!

if he continues to play only one big it seems to me that we are going to have an extremely difficult time recruiting bigs. They are going to know that playing time will be hard to come by.

I don't see the great in game coaching myself. I do believe that he has taken a rule (one and done) that many despise and has in fact embraced it and used it to his advantage. I think he is more psychologist than coach. IDK, maybe that is coaching.

I'd actually like to see Hanner AND Holt at the same time...it's not against the rules to play two bigs...is it? Lol

From what I've seen/read I like Marshall. I feel like Crean was in a better position to succeed at Marquette than Marshall was at Winthrop and IMO Marshall out performed him. He seems to meet or exceed expectations whereas Crean seems to under perform.

1)Pearl ain't happening...no chance in hell! 2) Miller isn't leaving what he's built at Arizona to come to this mess! 3) Stevens probably isn't leaning Boston for a couple of years. 4) Donovan? See answer #2 4) Marshall? What I see/read I like...a lot! 5) Smart? Sorta, kinda, maybe...nah Now, back to Marshall. Did I mention I like him? Lol

He seemed like a nice guy who was in way over his head. IU as your first head coaching gig? Following Bob Knight? And the way his tenure ended? That would've been difficult for the most experienced coach! Impossible for a new guy.

I don't really believe it will be a huge problem on offense. Defensively and keeping opposing teams from killing them on the offensive glass? Gonna be a big problem!

Kinda new here-I haven't even figured out how to like others post and I will put in a pic...when I figure that out also-but I'm gonna give this a shot. My expectation of Indiana is that they win and they do it in an honorable way. While I would like to win with the regularity that UK has the last few years if we have to play fast and loose with the rules I'll pass. One of the biggest things that bothers me about Crean is the over signing of recruits. We promote Indiana as a family and basically we are telling some family members every year...YOU ARE NOT GONNA BE HERE NEXT YEAR! You don't necessarily need to fill every scholarship every year. Kids and their families see this and I believe it makes it very difficult to get some recruits with the quality of character that we are looking for. As for this year. No more incidents...out of ANYBODY! If there is send them packing! This doesn't just mean from players who have had previous problems. I mean anybody and everybody. Take a stand! If you are unwilling to take a stand as a coach then I can't stand with you as a fan. We've had some bad years but that didn't cause me to withdraw my support as a fan! But unwillingness to take a firm stand makes me disgusted. I do believe that for Crean to remain as coach he will need to make the NCAA tournament this year and to be perfectly honest I don't know that the personnel is there to do that. We are going to get killed inside unless someone comes up as a HUGE surprise! I really feel like our best shot at winning this year is to play the style that UK did during Pitinos first few years. Push it hard, speed the game up, aggressively look for the three, press and try to turn the other team over a lot. We play half court and we'll get murdered.

Don't personally think he's ever coming back but if he ever did...I'm sure as hell that Fred Glass would have fireworks!

Sometimes if you have superior talent you can overwhelm superior coaching. IU right now against that? We have neither! We'll get our ass kicked seven ways to Sunday against that coaching and that talent!

Robinson should definitely be gone. Williams should have be gone at least until the conference begins. Kids push limits...you have no limits they don't know when to stop. In my opinion Perea should have been gone last year. I would probably support Holt being gone this year. Yogi? Shouldn't gotten a suspension. I know Davis is down right now but...

I'm not an IU alumni so maybe that precludes me from commenting,IDK. I moved to Indiana in 77 and became a fan almost immediately. This horsehit makes me sick to my stomach!
