I wouldn't disagree with you. I was referring only to the style of play in the league. I think Woodson's style of play will translate to the tournament ok once he gets the level of athlete/player he's looking for. The roster hampered him this year. I don't want to speak for pumpfake but I don't think they were saying Woodson is better at preparing than Knight was. I think pumpfake was comparing CMW's ability to prepare for a game vs CMW's ability to make in-game adjustments. Pumpfake seems to believe that was BK m/o and MW is in the same mold. If I remember correctly Skiles went nuts in the state tournament his senior year. I lived in Terre Haute and all you heard on the radio and read in the newspaper was about the monster games he was having.

I'm not saying Woodson isn't a good coach but what do you think makes him a good coach? I don't follow the NBA at all anymore. Haven't really in 10-15 years. All I know of Woodson is that he was a great player at IU. Don't really know anything about his coaching style or personality.

More than likely they are making up their own info and it's a game of "you verify my info and I'll verify yours" to make each other look legitimate. They all always seem to have known a helluva lot more after the fact than before and during the situation. They get paid to have a worse track record than weathermen. If his health permits him to coach I would support him. I live in Ohio and remember reading quite a few stories about his health issues and the toll they took on him. He did an excellent job at both Xavier and Ohio State.

His health would be his biggest question mark. Otherwise, he produced great results at several stops and lord knows he recruited Indiana strong!

Actually, I believe Beard has said that. Since he's been so prominently this week I've watched and read a few interviews with him. I believe I heard him say that he and Pat are close friends.
