My brother-in-law has Spectrum and said overall he was pretty pleased. He did say it would "pause" occasionally but it wasn't a frequent problem. They also have Amazon Prime which they use frequently also. I'm trying to find the cheapest combination that will get me BTN, FoxSports Ohio, Golf channel, and preferably CBS (the Masters). I'm liking what I'm seeing of YouTube tv. I'm sick of paying cincy bell fioptics through the nose for tons of content I don't need or use. I know Spectrum isn't any better either.

I live just north of Cincy. I was just talking to my brother-in-law last weekend about switching to Sling. Who do you run your internet through to support YouTubetv? And what type of internet speed do you need? I'm thinking of switching to Spectrum for my internet.

Calbert always has seemed to be such a classy individual. I'd love to see him back at IU in some capacity.

Player and Recruit Retention News/Discussion & Potential Transfers

I would be shocked and disappointed if Juwan is basing a very important decision in his life on what a teenage kid in High School, that he has virtually no relationship with, is gonna do. -
I'm not saying I disagree with you. I'm just not sure that it could be enforced. I like the model that baseball uses which is very similar to what you're proposing. MLB has a much better developed farm system than the NBA though and I'd say that's somewhat by design on the NBA's. Saves them quite a large expense. I believe I read that Bryce Harper quit high school, obtained his GED, then went to a JUCO at the age of 17. I believe that after one year of JUCO he went to the MLB draft. It allowed him to get collegiate experience but enter the draft at 18. I've wondered before if any high school basketball players have considered this tactic.

Read an article on ESPN where Stan VanGundy was ripping the NCAA and calling it a terrible organization that was corrupt. He said that the "one and done" was racist. All I could think was "Hey Stan. Ya know that one and done was perpetrated by the NBA which you're a part of, right?" The NBA doesn't care at all and neither does the NCAA.
-
I think enforcement of this would end up being almost impossible.

If I'm not mistaken, aren't the universities the ones getting paid right now off the players likeness? I'm asking this question because I'm not sure how that works presently. If the universities are the ones getting the funds and then those funds are used to finance other sports? There's going to be quite a bit of dissatisfaction when those funds are no longer available to finance sports that do not pay their own way.

My thoughts exactly every time they have their ESPY show and everyone fawns over Jimmy V! I said this in a comment yesterday. The media is so freaking hypocritical and uses their forum to gloss over what they want to and expose what they want to! They speak of the "passion" of UK fans and totally ignore the corruption of that program through the years! Point shaving, racism, envelopes of cash to recruits. John Wooden was a god and UCLA was a dynasty... in great part due to the fact Sam Gilbert was buying the best players in the country for him! Rick Pitino was an out of this world coach and master motivator... with an assistant coach throwing stripper parties a block or so away for recruits and another giving bribes for recruits! It's kinda easy to be awesome when it's not a level playing field.

I'm not so sure they shouldn't. They've made their pitch. Let him decide and come to them if he wants. If not then move on.

How the hell would his brother know? He's not clean!

(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

I agree with everything in your statement. The thing that stumps me and the question I have is, "does all that even matter anymore?" It seems that the media and most people don't even care about honesty and integrity. Rather than being castigated for past violations UK is praised for its "passion". I'm not sure Old boy Roy at UNC is any better. They've had their issues the last few years off the court also but that situation isn't going to change. Izzo and MSU? If viewed with objectivity his behaviour is reprehensible! Pitino and Louisville? They changed only when forced to. What's the answer? This dishonesty and corruption has been there for years. How do you get to a level playing field? I think Len Elmore hit one key last night. Get rid of one and done. I like the baseball model of things but I'm not sure that would stand up in court if challenged. The media is complicit and hypocritical in all this. They promote on air those they know are functioning in the gray areas until it's a better story to tear them down. It all makes me want to just play golf 24/7/365 and forget about sports both collegiate and professional. P.S. I agree with your statement about the administration wanting to downgrade IUMBB. Don't like it but I agree with it. -

Passengers on the Titanic thought it was going to be great when they got to NYC also lol. The more I watch Miller coach, and this present team develop, the more I think it'd be great if Romeo comes to Bloomington, but if not? Ok, we're gonna be in good shape no matter what. I'm thinking his decision is more crucial to his future than ours. Be a part of a program with great history and a promising future... or Vandy? -

Langford is a talented player and it would be great to see him come to Indiana but I believe you are absolutely correct. With or without Romeo, Archie is going to put together a successful team and program because he knows what he's doing. Talented players like Romeo will accelerate the process, but there are many talented players other than Romeo and Miller will get there in time. Archie isn't guessing, praying, and hoping. He's got a good long- term plan. -
Why do you not like the 1x10's? Did you consider using a laminated panel that you can buy at a lumber yard? I've seen them at Lowe's and thought of using them for projects.
