Archie Miller's staff at Indiana will be Bruiser Flint, Tom Ostrom (Dayton) and Ed Schilling (UCLA),

It's not like we were injury free with Jackson. One thing that has been different with Lyonel is that we don't see the players exhausted and dead legs at the end of the year like in previous. But in all honesty I don't think injuries or fatigue have anything to do with the trainers or strength coaches. -

Jefferies is working in the Denver Nuggets front office and has his own tv show. I don't think he would give that up to be an assistant coach. This offseason has already been crazy so I guess anything is a possibility though -

No you cannot. It's against NCAA rules. -
My favorite part of Woj's tweet was he ended it "(IU isn't interested)".

I'm hoping when the new coach is announced that he will change his mind. Time will tell -
None of these former players that have coached in the NBA have had much real success in coaching and I'm pretty sure Glass talked about candidates who've had success. They will all get a shot at an interview but if we would've been better off with Crean over Wittman, Smart, or Mike Woodson.
-
I agree!

Glass won back my support with that press conference. I enjoyed hearing him say that money won't be an issue in getting who they want. I also like that he plans to reach out to High school and AAU coaches in Indiana and the Midwest. That's the only way we will be consistent is to continually be in the running for top talent in the area. Don't have to lock down the state but we need to be pulling from the best talent every year in recruiting. Whoever we get I believe Glass will have done his homework and will get us the best coach available.

Over on 247 there are of course some interesting theories. Someone thought that maybe the replacement is already lined up, hence no search committee...seems logical. I guess we will see in the upcoming weeks
-
At this point the buyout doesn't really seem to be an issue because as soon as he gets any sort of other job (coaching, commentary, etc) the amount IU has to pay him goes down

I sat behind the Bellarmine bench when they played at Assembly Hall this year and after that it's a definite NO
-
Allen only has five years of coaching experience? Everything I have read and seen shows his coaching career dating back to the early 90s in high school football and he started coaching in college in 2007?
-
IUWBB didn't make the tournament but will play in the WNIT and they will ply a home game at Assembly Hall...seeing it all over Twitter right now
-
No he didnt. I just saw it on Twitter now

I just don't see it. All of the takeaways from the Combine was that he was underwhelming in every aspect. His play in the 5 on 5 didn't really show an NBA player according to everything I've read.
-
He said in an interview at the combine that he has two more classes plus an internship to complete before he graduates
-
So basically you are telling us something we all already know. The scouting report was that he was very athletic, a great rebounder, and needed work on his jumpshot....
-
Van Fleet from Wichita State was selected as an alternate as well. Another All-American. Kind of ridiculous that neither one was invited.
-
Michigan has been open about forcing players out lately. Same with Duke. Its hardly just a problem at IU.
-
Maybe I missed it somewhere but I just read online that Vince Edwards is testing the NBA draft waters..... I feel bad for a lot of these kids that I see declaring. Granted Edwards and multiple others aren't hiring agents but its still scary.
-
The NCAA already declared that he can transfer anywhere, even in conference. UM has no say in it now.
