IU vs Louisville Game Thread
Crimson and Cream replied to Beachfront Property's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
sddowning beat me to it. Harrell scares the mess out of me. He could have a field day with our lack of size down low. We certainly are capable of hanging with and upsetting these guys, but with this being our first game away from home I'm worried. The good news is, Ohio St. is about as young as us, and they came back from being down quite a bit. I'm looking for a big game from JBJ in this one. -
I wanted to go Emmitt, but I think he would be my 2nd choice. I was truly impressed with RoJo tonight. He really did a special job of creating for other guys out there. He seems to be able to get to the rim at ease, especially for a freshman.

Maaan when I saw Beth grab that I knew she wasn't going to leave that woman cop without getting her back. Good to see the group all back together now though. I don't think the church man is going to last much longer personally.

Scared me, I thought this was transfer news.

Why Tevin Coleman deserves every award Melvin Gordon wins

Blackmon One and Done?

BGleas nailed it. JBJ has got the shooting, but plenty of flaws. He's nowhere near ready defensively, his ball handling isn't up to par, and most importantly he's too small to play the 2 at the next level, so he will need to prove he can play the point first. He won't get that chance until his junior year when Yogi leaves, which is why I see JBJ staying at least 3 years. Same as Yogi, his size will be the cause of him going to college all 4 years (not that I'm complaining). -

Wow, very good work. Some good stats there. -
I was watching the Pacers-Mavs game to take my mind off of...well you know, and Mark Cuban just looked so upset tonight (which is understandable considering his team was losing). I couldn't help but wonder, would he be interested in coaching? And if so, would he be interested in coming back to his alma matter and leading the cream and crimson back to the glory days?

The one where I'm not awake
-
Yeah that's true. I guess I'd like to have him here in B-Town in some form or fashion. Coaching probably isn't the right job. I blame everything on tonight's game. I'm still in awe.
-
Haha sorry Reb, but if he was watching tonight's game, Eastern Washington would be the excited party.
-
Not a joke, just something to think about and discuss.

So who's going to be the new Coach next year?
Crimson and Cream replied to Banksyrules's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Whoever Eastern Washington's coach is -
It's hard to judge any QB this year based on how poorly our receivers have played.
-
Camp, I believe that was because they planned on using this as a redshirt year for him.
-
Obviously a lot can change in a year, but Diamont isn't ready now and he would have to play awfully good to unseat a 5th year senior who has had a solid career here. I'm not saying hand it to Sud, but I would be shocked if he isn't the starter next year. My guess is we bring in another QB, whether that be a Juco or a freshman, that will compete with Sud and allow Diamont to get a redshirt year in and prepare to take over (or attempt to take over) when Sud leaves. To be honest, I'm more concerned with our receiving core next year than our QB situation.

Incarnate Word..isn't that the school we beat out for Priller? -
#1CreanApologist nailed it, it really wasn't a good first game to play him in. We'll be seeing plenty of him Saturday and Monday against the cupcakes.
-
JBJ easy choice. As others stated, Yogi's 7 ast to 0 TO's is great to see. Troy looked good. RoJo struggled shooting, but still managed to grab boards and get assists. He is contributing in many ways. HMP is the only dark spot from this game. He doesn't need to score, but he does need to grab rebounds and play defense. He did none of that tonight.
-
Wow, I've heard of that strategy before but never tried it. Might have to.

...and the Hoosiers have somehow knocked off Ohio State in Columbus
Crimson and Cream replied to CampHoosier's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Well....thanks for the laugh anyways. -
Haven't had any luck in Fulton County so far this year, too much standing corn still, so irritating. Have barely seen anything at all, except for a couple real nice bucks on the trail cam. All at night though.

Writing a freshman off after 1 game? Seems awfully silly to me. -
