Sometimes things get lost in translation thru text, all i'm saying is Xavier had two former Hoosiers and many times they recruit the same players as us.  Not saying the stole em or anything.  better.............?

Geez man, sorry, they had former IU players on their roster.

(2014) SF Marial Shayok to Virginia

This is one of the craziest off seasons that I can remember in a long time, for the fact that we could potentially add 3 late signees.  If Crean can land some decent depth in the frontcourt, then I think we'll look at this recruiting class as a success.

It'd be nice to take an Xavier kid, since they've taken both Jordan Crawford and Remy Abel away from us.

Do y'all know if we recruited this kid ever, when he was in HS?  I heard Greg Rakestraw commenting on this kid yesterday on 1070 when he was filling in for JMV.  It seems odd that he would drop his name if we didn't have a chance at all.

Tom Crean piss and moan thread with a little sunshine (lol)

I think that our entire roster will contribute next year with the exception of Hartman because of his injury, and of course Peter Jurkin who seems to be IU's version of Greg Oden.  I'm honestly fine with our backcourt, and quite excited about it.  Our forwards I'm also excited for, but acknowledge that we need more.  Troy Williams and hanner Parea will be a nice above the rim tandem and Devin Davis can be a nice lunch pale kinda guy, sort of like a Lynn Washington type of player that we had back in the late 90's.  Like I said earlier, we just need to get, hopefully, 2 more front court players, and then I really think we can be a very formidable team.

I know he's not a post player, but out of all the guys that have been mentioned so far, outside of Lee from Temple, this kid I think would help us the most.

(2014) JUCO SF Deng Deng to Baylor

His competition might as well been me out there trying to D him up.  I wonder if he can guard the post against real bigs...?  At this point however, I just want us to land someone 6'8" or bigger that can give us minutes next year and 5 more fouls.

Great Post, I really think we'll be as good as we've been in the backcourt during the Crean Era.  I mean you have arguably the best point guard in the Conference coming back, and a pure shooter that just happens to be a McD's All American coming in, the Virginia HS player of the year coming in who is also a shooter and ballhandler, and a Soph in Stan Robinson who has a different skill set and is a lefty slasher.  At a different times this season, many of us sang his praises.    At Forward, i really like Troy's game, assuming he develops more. And one would think that Hanner will be able to help us more than he has his first two years.  Now after that it gets a lil hazy for me, but I know that this is what the staff is working on.  I just want to see us play a style that utilizes sharing the ball, stretching the floor and being able to penetrate and kick out to our shooters.  Defensively, we defenitely need to have some bigger bodies, if not for the fact that one of our forwards get hurt, but i'm confident it gets taken care of.  Go IU
