HAHAHA I know. He's center shot too, can't help but notice that. Pretty much sums up his 'tude for most of the season though. Couldn't tell if he just wasn't excited to be there most the time, or if that's just how he is.

@TomCrean: I tell our freshman that if they can guard Yogi they will be able to guard any other guard we play. He's improving. http://t.co/7nDI7Pujog https://twitter.com/tomcrean/status/494658861089820673 Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners

Lyle's from Evansville I believe... Most people here are either IU or UK fans (nearly 50-50), and I thought IU was trying to recruit him in the past. I wonder if he isn't accepted into Oregon, would we still have a chance? obviously he isn't really concerned with playing close to home... Great player, but also, would we need him on the team? That's one tall point guard though -
I can't believe how quick Zeller was able to sprint the court for his size. Remarkable.

Out of all the numerous tweets of his.. the latest is my favorite. Considering they are factoring in past Hoosiers as well (i'm sure many may not have been recorded), it looks like Je'Ney is really a one of a kind strength coach.
hmmm, first '18 name I've seen. PCB Grassroots @PocketCityAAU Indiana has shown interest in @PocketCityAAU 15u members 6'7 Jack Nunge (2017) and 6'3 Robin Duncan (2018).
I've been trying to keep up to date with pocket city here in Evansville. I'll see if I can find any video for either of these guys.. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Any good evaluation on what our realistic chances are of landing this guy? And would him taking out last scholly spot be beneficial to us other than for this next season? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
Okay one last thing and I'm done. I have VBS to go to. As you all can tell I'm very passionate about my child. It's always been him and I against the world and we have both been fighters all our lives. I just don't want things to get out of hand because of " WORD OF MOUTH" and best believe me I stay on mine tough! Always have and always will I don't care how old he is. Stay true to who you are, but don't go out your way to please PEOPLE! Please yourself so sleeping at night won't be a problem. Respect people, so you don't have to watch your back! Be humble, kind and most of all love one another, even if they throw mud in your face. You reap what you sow and what comes around, goes around! Treat people like you want to be treated and if you have to think about something twice, that automatically means DON'T DO IT!! These are the laws I live by and at 47 years of age, I have NO GREY HAIR and my son will never say, "Mom, you never told me that!" Lol. Have a great evening everyone!!❤️

I don't think that's what he meant. I hope our team takes a lesson from all this defensiveness we see from fans on this forum, and uses it on the court.

This kid is serious about playing at the next level at an early age it seems. I'm sure he will develop a lot quicker than most his age with that type of forward thinking. -
(2016) PF T.J. Leaf to UCLA
Hutch89 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Good ol' Purple Aces. Just finished grad school at UE. Brad Leaf was one of the best players they've had in their basketball history actually. Interview with Brad Leaf (after TJ was offered): On if IU is one of the leaders, at this point: “Oh, heck yeah. Yeah, definitely. They’ll always be seen as one of the leaders. This is 40 years of roots, for me and my wife. That’s all T.J. has heard since he’s been able to watch basketball.” Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners -
I first took that statement as the early morning workouts/runs/whatever happened more often before and now they are less. I thought of it as the punishments were starting to come to an end in that sense. But now I'm not sure.

Has anyone been able to find video of this yet? I'm sure InsidetheHall will post a video at some point this afternoon, but way too excited about all those player updates to wait!
