Yeah, i was pretty shocked at the other school's transfer rates.. I mean, we only had 3 transfers, well actually 4.  seems like they forgot about Luke on that list.  Anyways, I'd rather have a transfer than a dismissal any year.

I don't think you are too far off there. But instead of it being about Lebron's actions entirely, but his actions definitely play into the changing culture that we're seeing. I see this as an overall change in our way of life in the 21st century. Folks are just plain more global minded and that doesn't just mean going to play overseas or somewhere else exotic compared to the US, it also means that kids look to other states in the U.S. for school. Kids are so much more exposed to other programs and states than they were just 20-30 years ago, and that has a lot to do with the massive quantity of athletic games we're able to view on the tv, streamed online, or social media. Universities out of state can become regular household names. Just think about the sheer number of Notre Dame football fans all across the county who have never lived, been to, or would go to South Bend, indiana. The TV deal that they have grants them so much more exposure and makes them a common name that kids might feel more comfortable with attending or giving some legitimate interest. don't think holt is on campus just yet. he wasn't at that "spirit and tradition" freshman introduction thing in assembly hall this afternoon. Also, don't think we have any official practices yet. but i'm very anxious to hear how he does in his own training and practice as well. Hoping he gives HMP and Davis some good reps. Holt sounds like he could be THE guy after a few years. I'm really liking our how our 2016 class might look if we don't lose too many players and we have a successful upcoming season.
