  you're definitely right there! ​The overall talent pool is usually lower, but mid-majors do get their share of talent.   DJ Balentine from Kokomo is with Evansville and he just had a monster sophmore year (multiple 25+ points a game).

I feel like Shakes decision will make an impact on what OG chooses here.. Crean can easily sell to the first 2 recruits that they will have a scolly spot, but 3 spots... that would be a bit riskier of a commit for the 3rd than for the first 2 IMO. I'm not sure how well Limestone holds up against earthquakes.  Seems like a pretty soft stone, perhaps that would help though?

if you don't want to give any money to BTN and would rather it go to IU, then just use the Hoosiers All-Access thing from their website. I've brought it up a couple of other times on the forum, but it really does work well, and it's cheap. Plus you can get all the exhibition games that won't be televised. If the main selling point is that his mom and siblings can come to games, then that's not a very strong case for OU imo. The family will be able to make numerous trips to anywhere without too much trouble and Shake has the type of skill where the decision should be mostly basketball related, and the other pieces can fall into place. Hoosiers All-Access. you can get it from the IU athletics website, and well worth the 7 bucks for the first month of non-televised IU non-conference games. Only drawback is you have to watch the tv broadcasting students run the cameras and analysis.. but seriously, they aren't that bad haha. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners
