Good point though... i'd like to think that these athletic kids can make the next step quicker, but i guess i'm just generalizing. We would really have to see him play some games first. OG was the guy that made some insanely huge leaps during some AAU tournament play right? Hopefully his senior year of HS will show that his success wasn't a fluke.

This is the first time i've seen this! so hilarious

Maybe not right away, or even through most of his first year... but that type of player that's just oozing natural athleticism will explode after some formal training (especially from Je'ney) and some more conditioning at the college level.

I'll trust the staff on this one and let them make the decision if Lyle is mature enough to play at IU.  No doubt he has the skills, but I bet the staff is sick to death of off-court drama at this point.  They'll make the right decision on whether to pursue Lyle any further or not.         Sounds like he couldn't decide what school was best for HIM (in terms of basketball PT, exposure, etc.), and that's ok.. But what irks me the most is if he's had some really hideous academic trouble, then he's been misguided as a youth and took the easy way of only focusing on basketball.         We'll see if him being excluded from the Oregon roster has woken him up to where he realizes that his dream of playing basketball might be in jeopardy if he doesn't get his act together.  

Lots of negativity towards Jaquan... But I guess I wasn't following too closely the first time around before he committed to Oregon. Can anyone give a good synopsis of what he has done and the issues surrounding him? It's hard to pick through all these posts to find a list of concrete details as to why he wouldn't be a good fit for iu.

Is Rodney Perry any good as a coach? I mean, if it's a job as martha the cleaning lady, then it won't bother me so much... but a coaching job? ehhhh

If Shake does commit to IU, we will all need to keep a close eye on this. I would not like to see that happen.
