Rather... Is hot water in Glass?

something interesting i'm noticing from the box score of the Michagan v Illinois game... currently at 40-32, Illinois winning with 15 mins to go. However, Illinois' point leader so far in the game is Malcolm Hill, with 7 POINTS. Do they spread the love around, or what? EDIT: also, Illinois has 3 players that have 5 rebounds each, while Michigan just has 1 player with 4 boards.

Who you all want to win this game right now... Michigan or Illinois? I know Hova's vote, and agree. Only because Illinois has a 10-3 record like we do and would like a bit of separation there starting early.

Also, CHRIS VIRTUE is our interim strength coach... Indiana guy with degrees from IU, rock on. http://www.iuhoosiers.com/genrel/virtue_chris00.html "Chris Virtue is in his eighth year with the Indiana Strength & Conditioning Department. Virtue is responsible for the design and implementation of sport-specific strength, conditioning, flexibility, speed and agility protocols for the softball, volleyball, women's golf, and men's tennis programs. He has also assisted with the men's basketball program since the 2010-2011 season. He previously served as a graduate assistant strength coach, where he assisted with the implementation of sport-specific strength, conditioning, flexibility, speed and agility programs for Indiana's 24 men's and women's programs. Virtue served with the Indiana Football program from 2007-2010. He earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology in May 2006 and a master's degree in kinesiology in May 2009, both from Indiana University. Virtue resides with his wife Crista in Greenwood, Ind."

Northwestern squeaks by Rutgers with a win of 51 - 47 . For the season... Northwestern now 10-4, Rutgers now 8-6.
-
Yikes, Northwestern is up 27 - 22 at the Half. A low scoring affair it would seem. I would think that IU should be able to flat out shoot either of them under the table this year. Even if the shot percentage isn't too high for us on one of those games, our pace would break them.

If I remember correctly, Je'Ney had played a major role in Juwan's decision to come to IU. I hope he isn't leaving. and if it's for Louisville..... heads will roll.

What a game changer he would be for any program that gets him. Hoosiers would be so stacked
-
I feel like I'm the only person bringin him up lately... But Thon Maker? Have I missed something at all, because last I heard he was doing everything possible to reclassify for 2015, and isn't a lock yet for anyone.

Is IU currently reaching out to Brad Stevens through back channels?

Glad we didn't fall too far after the gtown loss. On to the conference!

If they get Bryant at center, then I hope that's one less program that Thon will consider.

Hornets assign Noah Vonleh to NBA D-League
Hutch89 replied to Hutch89's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Also, Vonleh played his first game with the Mad Ants last night... Vonleh played 16 minutes in his Mad Ants debut, a 106-93 loss to Austin. He had 12 points, three rebounds and two blocked shots. http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nba/2014/12/28/hornets-assign-noah-vonleh-to-fort-wayne-mad-ants-d-league/20967589/
