and honestly, I want the one-and-done NBA rule to end as quickly as possible almost exclusively so that Kentucky can stop doing what they're doing.  it pisses me off

Yeah for sure, other teams would catch up quick.   I'm not saying i'm for or against the shot clock change at all, i'm really quite neutral on it. I think how it is today works well, and as someone earlier had posted, it's more of the one-and-done rules that have taken many of the good players out of college, but who knows. 

  IU's game under Crean is already quick.  I feel like we usually get our shot off well before 30 seconds, but depending on what kind of defensive pressure we're seeing at the moment.  30 second shot clots would probably favor our team, as it would force higher pace, and we already play that style.   There would be a lot of teams that would need to adjust though, like Wisconsin for instance, who likes to take their time until the perfect shot opportunity presents itself. 

Guys, thanks again for putting up these games each week.   They're a ton of fun, and some of the questions really make you think. 

I'm definitely going to go to several here in the coming month, especially since I'll be back working in btown for good as of next weekend.

So if I were to buy a GA ticket to a women's game, am I pretty much able to sit wherever I choose? Like as close to the floor or IU bench as possible?

A woman I worked with in Evansville stopped to chat and saw my IU poster at my desk, she said that Calbert was her 1st cousin and they grew up together. Thought that was pretty awesome!

UK sports radio host just said a good source told him this last weekend that "if Thomas Bryant isnt on the UK roster next year, then I'd be shocked"

I didn't realize the Zeller's had another one though.  honestly, i'd bet almost anything that he will grow up to be another high-major D1 recruit in the top 100 of his class... there's almost no way that he couldn't be!

  Is 13-5 really all that bad though?    I really don't want to get into an "expectations" argument again, as that seems to be the catalyst for most disagreements on this board.  However, 13-5 in the B1G isn't so bad on paper, and considering how extremely young and inexperienced the team is overall, I had "expected" much worse.  If we can go 13-5, make the tourny, and win a couple of games (hoping for favorable matchups), then it's my opinion that the year has gone much better than I would have a guessed a few months ago.      I'm going to be flayed alive on here. Please don't hurt me for my opinion! haha  :cheese:
