Is that a surprise lol. Seems every time someone comes in the Hall, someone always has the game of their life
-
Supposedly he loves UNC and if UNC reaches out, he will walk right on over.

FWIW, i don't want to believe he would do such a thing, but nothing would surprise me with Woody. But before the live feed was over from Senior Day, i already had a text out to buddies wondering the same thing. So its not so crazy for @AZ Hoosier to think this.

His exact words were "IU is making NIL budget very clear". So we can only assume what the means exactly. So does that mean that we are telling kids we can and will pay more, or does that just mean we are letting people know we have a lot to spend. I dont know the exact details on that. Carlyle and Walker would help very quickly out of the gate. Would be a good "holeshot" as the saying goes. As for Newton, i think it would be really unfair for any of us to put any hope into him (not saying that you are). Not because of his talent or drive, but those injuries are tough and he hasn't played in a very long time. I just hope he is able to get back on the court and play period. If he contributes anything, that is the icing on the cake. Conwell is kind of up in the air. Some have said that if Schertz leaves and head to L'ville per say, Conwell may follow. So that will be interesting to see how it all unfolds. No one really knows right now it seems. -
Well players used to show up to the women's game. TJD and Race (and i believe Miller) used to attend a lot of women's games. So i don't know if the players on this roster don't care or if the sentiment being passed on by the head coach is doing anything towards that. That last part is purely speculation on my part.

Correct on that one. FWIW, if you care about what Rabby says...his chat night was basically saying that 1) IU is making its NIL budget very clear (sounds like bragging about how much we can pay) 2) We are getting good feedback from Carlyle camp 3) Small is a very slim chance (MSU) barring a crazy change. 4) IU is very interested in Cade Tyson, but he is UNC's if UNC wants him, so probably could not spend time on this one -
I don't think Woodson is very supportive of the women's team...and don't think he and Moren get along very well

As for the Ware portion of that, Peegs posters said Ware and Sparks going into a big fight and that lit a fire under Ware and that’s why Sparks didn’t play anymore. I can understand people asking questions or asking “could this be a possibility” but I can’t stand the people that literally just go to boards to make up stuff. But then again, Sparks dream was to play at IU and he transferred. He must have got word Ware is staying!!! Alert the press…WARE IS STAYING** **clearly joking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I said the same thing on Peegs earlier today and got blocked by 3 people, told to chill by 1 and criticized by many more. Be careful, the blogger boy huggers might come after you or even might block you!! [emoji15][emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I believe it’s known he doesn’t support or watch the women’s team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

100%. Sparks always said his dream was to play at Indiana. He played here, scored points in Assembly Hall and fulfilled his dream. Now got back to ball state, finish our tour career getting quality minutes. Happy for you big fella. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

haha, i mean numbers dont lie....BROTHER! So when i say this, i am going off my assumptions and my assumptions say that if we have to rely on those two for 25+ games....we will need to do more than say our prayers and take our vitamins ha -

If Leal and Gallo are starting, we are missing the BTT -

Hence the "perfect world" part. If somehow they hit in the portal and both are coming off the bench, then we would be in a good spot. But i would say that if Walker and Gallo are starting, missing the BTT is more likely than making the list of 68 teams to me. -

In a perfect world, Woody and Co. do good enough in the portal to have Gallo, Leal, newbies Leland Walker and Essegian all coming off the bench. That would be a good sign obviously, but i feel i am asking too much here. -
Rumor is Adam Howard is following Dusty to Michigan. Dont know if he fall under an " assistant coach" per say...but that is only rumblings i have heard.
-
I asked some friends if they thought that having them speak was a ploy/PR move that day and i have wondered ever since. I would hope that they wouldn't be asked to do that, and then would hope that they wouldn't do that....but anymore, nothing surprises me Hey boys, we will be giving you an NIL bump next season, and maybe a little extra cheese if you do me a favor....
-
I said i wouldn't want him, but we might be getting to the point where that might be the best we can do. Some young whippersnapper, who has done well at a smaller school where we hope we can hit a home run with.
-
I know @AZ Hoosier wouldnt approve, but would anyone on here be okay with looking at Bryce Drew next year? I personally would hope we would make a bigger more proven hire, but I do wonder if there is a time where we wouldn't be able to pull a proven guy from their current position.

It was very goes for sure. But saying all that, the strategy worked….if they would have made those free throws ha 29-45. Gulp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Let’s just hope they don’t do a Purdue game. Other team wouldn’t even be able to put 5 players on the court. Yikes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
