Friday night my fiancé’s father passed away. He was 60. He had a major heart attack and didn’t make it. Retired 2 months ago with his wife after 40 years of working. He left behind his wife and 2 daughters. Yes he was a Purdue fan, but that didn’t hinder him from being a role model to me and a great man to so many. His daughters and i’s wedding in two months will not be the same without him and our lives won’t be either.

That’s all I was thinking last night. Picturing a UK Purdue final four. My ultimate nightmare. In one hand it’s Kentucky, and then in the other a fiancé that’s a Purdue fan. Thank goodness i don’t have to deal with that.

So I’m going to have to change. Because if I go UVA and Duke, and they both win, I will not be able to have a pick after Sunday. So in saying that, I will change my picks too Saturday : UVA (only option) Sunday : Auburn (to save Duke/MSU if Auburn wins. Would be only way to make it to final four with a team to pick)
