I’m just worried about this scenario and it’ll sting more than anything….. Brad wants to coach again. Loves IU. Would love to coach IU. The one thing that most people need to realize sometimes. People like Chris, RTZ, Jerry, GP and AP tell us what they are hearing. Whether it comes to fruition or not, doesn’t make them a troll or a liar. What they are hearing today, February 24th, may be correct and accurate info TODAY. That could change tomorrow. People change their minds all the time. None of us on here are taking directly or thinking for Brad Stevens or “insert coach here”. So many people get offended or call them trolls, etc if what they say doesn’t happen. They aren’t on here spreading BS (bull sh*t) rumors for fun. They say what they hear from a source. That source could embellish it or the info just straight up changes because person changed their mind or whatever. If IU didn’t have a coach, why would Dolson say they are creating a GM role to work with the HC next year.assuming he’d be okay with it (though most probably would be). Why would zellers name be rumored to be in position for that if we didn’t know who HC was. Why would Zeller be at HS game “scouting” Jonathan Sanderson. Do we know someone who might be a candidate for IU HC that also was a person the recruited Zeller? Coincidences? Does Dolson actually have his guy already? Kent thinks so.
