The most incredible stat of the night to me is that Jim Boehiem still has kids in college. The guy has to be in his upper 70s. -

Just take it from a different department to give to the AD like McRobbie had been doing with Big Ten revenue for years -
I agree. I think we had a coach trying to save his job (Sheridan) at a detriment to younger player development. My opinion is why throw a freshman to the wolves in the B1G when he had no off season practicing as a 1st or 2nd team QB, no in game experience, and could redshirt. The season was already lost and then “benching” him does nothing for psyche. I’d guess, with no inside knowledge, that there was a difference of opinion between the coaches over which QB to play and it seemed playing time was given with no consistency. Just glad to put this mess of a season behind us and see what we can salvage moving forward

I was told that they played Gremel because McCaulley was the one checking to the QB run plays on his own. He didn’t have confidence to throw the ball for whatever reason so he kept falling back on his legs even when the coaches were telling him pass. Take it for what it’s worth. On a side note if coaching changes were imminent and known for awhile there could be a lot more that the players have been dealing with behind the scenes that could make things confusing especially for a freshman

I don’t. The Defense has been bitten by the injury bug and still held up reasonably well with a few different players making plays. They got torched by OSU because the OSU offense is just that good and our offense couldn’t sustain any drive after the first TD -
I’m surprised with his bias he couldn’t figure a way to get Purdue in the field

I’d say our linebackers with Scales and Covington were the best we’ve seen in a long time at IU -

Way too early to make that determination. You seem angry. Did Penix steal Natalie Portman from you? -

Would Zeller have even played for Sampson? I thought the family didn’t care for him (maybe just the players he had) -
Fred Glass Retiring
hoopsta007 replied to southernindianahoosier2's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Appreciate your thoughts but we have suffered a decade of losing under Glass. We have been passed in football by our arch rival (evidence is head to head). We sit by and are supposed to be patient when a school like Ohio St can beat us like a drum in basketball with a new coach and seemingly less talent (we are told). Glass screwed up letting Lynch stay. He screwed up by giving Wilson an extension then firing him. He either didn’t know what was going on with Wilson or tried to ignore it and couldn’t. Whichever way that is spun is negligent. He let Crean stay on far too long and let the program become a joke with players getting arrested, suspended, and forced out. Ask yourself this: Would this failure be tolerated for as long as it has at any other blue blood or serious program? -
I’m being facetious. Sorry I didn’t clarify that better

Pretty sure playing them at home next year is a lose lose for IU. The committee won’t value this win like they should and a home loss would really hurt. Go with more of a sure thing. Flip flop them with Arkansas St.

We have a definite shot! It seems like upon scrutiny into the numbers we are trending up among a few credible (non ESPN) “bracketologists”

About par for the course for IU basketball. Do just enough to get your hopes up. -
So you’re saying there’s a chance? I think with the new quad system it favors a resume like ours and may pull us across the finish line

He’d better play or give one of those houses back
