Foye, Lowry, Nardi, Ray. 4 guards/wings, go small and gun? May be our best/only option with what is expected to be a strong backcourt with Yogi, James, Stan, possibly Robert and with Troy on the wing, and having nobody of value in the post. That Villanova team didn't have a player over 6'4 average more than 5.5 ppg.

  If the other team goes big then you have to go fast, press, zone, etc. There's not much else you can do at this point unless we do land a competent big man. This is the hand we've been deal (constructed). Got to play to its strengths.

  Of the FF teams, we beat one and lost to another one by 1. I know we had some bad losses last year, but we also had the capability to play with some of the better teams in the country. More disciplined basketball (less turnovers), and I think that we are closer to being good again than a lot of people are giving us credit for. The value of an upperclassmen PG cannot be understated enough. If we can shoot, limit turnovers, and play good defense, we can be very successful. Look no further than Louisville last year.  

Hey everybody. So I finally decided to come back to this group. For those who remember me, I was on HSN (the original) a fair amount. I wasn't too impressed by 247, though I hesitently signed up and posted a little bit. It looks like half of the community eventually came here, so seeing that I recognize a lot of familiar names and like the feel of this forum a hell of a lot better than 247, I decided to sign up.   Anyone want to fill me in on why everyone left 247? Werent some of you guys mods over there?

  We've had 10 since he came here (not including Sampson's players like Basset and Crawford), plus Roth not getting his extra year. Then there was also Guy Marc-Michel who didn't even play. Factoring in players who went pro, the amount of IU players to make it to four years is pathetically low: Jones, Pritchard, technically Roth, Watford, Hulls, Elston, and Sheehey.   Players who left early: Williams, Story, technically Roth, Bawa, Creek, Capobianco, Oladipo, Marc-Michel, Remy, Cody, Austin, Hollowell, Fischer, Vonleh

Good to hear some things changed but others stayed the same. Feels so much more comfortable just typing into the post box here than it does at 247.   Does takemebackto1987 post here? That guy loved Creek.
