If we make it to the NIT. Progress, not perfection. -
Why aren't we recruiting guys from Indiana?

They get who they want every year. There arenf enough spots on their rosters to get every single good player in their states every year. But they get the majority and they get the ones they really want. -

Its interesting how football talent rich states like Texas and Florida have their own lining up to play for the home schools while basketball talented state Indiana kids act like they cant wait to leave. -
I'm surprised the best assistants in the country arent trying to work for Crean. This position should have been gobbled up by now you would think.

Im not sure how many top candidates really want to work for Tom Crean, to be honest.

It helps that Meyer works for a coach that has taken his team to back to back Elite Eights and a Final four. -

The heart of the matter is that kids want to win and win big. They see all of these programs that I mentioned earlier winning big and want to be a part of it. Indiana hasnt won big since 2002 and then 1993 before that. This is why so many top kids in the state turn their noses up at the Hoosiers over the years. -

What schools are leading for the best kids in the state of Indiana from the 2015 class? -

The fact of the matter is that the best players in the state of Indiana would rather go to schools that surround the state because they are more attractive to them. UK, Louisville, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State. These schools are percieved to have better basketball programs with superior coaches by these kids and the important figures in their lives. -

The sky isnt falling. It already fell. Indiana now looks up to teams like Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Kentucky, Louisville, Wisconsin and Nebraska. And that is going to continue until the administration gets serious about Indiana being great again.
