Hard to win games when you don’t have a single guard that you can rely upon.

Mentally unfit to compete. Physically, we have it. Mentally, we are soft. That hasn’t changed one bit. I think it’s a coaching problem.

This team doesn’t do anything well. Not one thing. Rebounding? Nope. Defense? Nope. 3pt shooting? Nope. Take care of the ball? Nope. Fast break points? Nope. FT shooting? Nope.

Never seen a team purposefully foul not once but twice in the closing seconds of the 1st half. We could have just played D on the last 8 seconds but nah….

I forgot there was a game until halftime. Turned it on and now I’m turning it off. I was in a better mood before I realized we were playing. That’s what IU basketball has become during my lifetime: a literal waste of time.

Gallo isn’t a leader. Never was. We don’t have a leader. Cupps maybe but he’s 135lbs and can’t shoot. You just know Woody isn’t gonna chew them out or challenge them. It’s like this team has no leadership or guts or poise from the top to the bottom. I

I think you push him out the door if after the next 2 seasons (not counting this one), he doesn't make it to an Elite 8 and contend for a B1G title. I would think (and hope) that a 67-68y Mike Woodson having finished a completely mediocre 5-6y tenure at his beloved alma mater wouldn't play hardball or make demands but would graciously exit stage left with a small buyout and the gratitude of the university and (some) fans for stabilizing the program.

We need to get Mgbako 1 more look from 3. We need to post up w/ Malik. And we need to play high effort on D and I think we have a good chance to pull it out.

Great opportunity for these guys to grow. No, I’m not kidding. We have the size and athleticism to be a good team. Shooting for high-end D1 players is mental. Defense is effort. These guys can do both. They just need to get mentally right.

Not saying it would have changed the outcome (though it certainly could have) but not having the two most athletic guards out there due to injury- X and Jakai…I mean, you take the the two most athletic guards from Auburns rotation and see where they end up today. just saying….our roster is actually more athletic than what played today..
