IUBB vs UConn Game Thread 12/10 @ 9:00 pm ESPN
kreigh8 replied to Stuhoo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
When Durham isn’t scoring like he hasn’t been lately I feel Damezi can do just about the same thing, not saying he should start but he gives us more than Al has -

Durham and Brunk I’m sure are nice people but they don’t need to be starting moving forward. Durham has been so disappointing as the competition has ramped up -

We still can’t shoot. Hopefully some of those recruits can shoot the 3 ball. Not going to win many games in today’s game if you can’t -
CMA has a couple Plymouth boys on the staff, they can’t lose

Agreed, but isn't that why this thread was dug up in the first place?
-
Man what happened to this place? Mods digging up threads from years ago in hopes of embarrassing another poster and now we’re talking about Lincoln’s beard length during the Civil War? So much for staying on topic

Good insight for sure. I for sure wasn't implying Brunk was the reason for the loss my question was just an unfortunate way of singling him out, but more so as I worry what other big guys in the BIG more talented than Reuvers might do to us with Brunk in. I agree with the guards being out of position, need to get Rob back healthy ASAP. I'd much rather have Franklin handling the ball without Rob than Durham, personally. Durham dribbling makes me incredibly uneasy. Yogi spoiled me maybe, but the feelings I get when Durham is the primary ball handler is reminiscent of when Verdell was around and we didn't have many options then, perhaps we still don't. The one thing I would disagree with is Anderson. I thought he was about the only guy I could pinpoint that actually cared Saturday, I thought he played hard, which makes me very happy as I didn't think he'd make it past the season and would be a transfer candidate so I'm very happy to eat my words on that through 9 games.

Maybe not the place for it but does Brunk concern you yet? I can’t imagine Reuvers stacking up in the upper half of bigs in the BIG and he embarrassed Brunk. Bad game or a sign of things to come? Only going to get tougher outside a few teams as conference play ramps up. Honestly asking your thoughts Edit: mods feel free to move - I finally read the forum guidelines and this breaks a thread derailment rule so if this becomes a warning - Id accept that and pay the consequences I guess

I get your intent but this made me chuckle after reading the IndyStar article about Knight attending an IU game this week and living 3 miles from Assembly. He isn’t dead yet. “Long gone”- only in terms of coaching IU -

Is this this years Duke game? I might have to watch passively. I’m so disappointed - thought the effort we showed against FSU was something to build on -

Which is ridiculous. Durham is counted on to bring major scoring for this team. Why he starts over Green is a mystery to me -

I would hate for IU and its football program to lose out on any momentum with the program, even if perceived. After that Purdue game, and most of the year frankly, I want to see a DC brought in worth his weight, and a raise for Allen and his assistants. I'd hate to lose Hart and the OC. Michigan St appears to be treading water with Dantonio. Harbaugh has Michigan where they are and possibly lose their luster if he continues to be unable to solve OSU. Rutgers may need some facilities undertaken before Schiano gets Rutgers to par, if ever. Going cheap again and not ponying up in terms of staff raisers, facilities, or whatever it might be wouldn't be a great sign to me - and I'm not sure I'd get more confident about that basketball program moving forward if the football program isn't taken care of in what's been a fantastic season. Just do the right thing Glass and IU. I'm sure it will happen but I'm hoping for the moon I'd expect.

Curious - any immediate OL impact in this class?

Spacing on offense gets so bad at times. Passes are turning into handoffs even when not running the weave
